Went in after seeing good reviews. As she was filing the tips she put on my nails I noticed one was looking a lot more rounded than the others. I pointed it out and she said she wasn't done. Then as I'm driving home, I notice indentations all over my nails and my pointer finger nail was at least half the length shorter than the others.

Because I spent $70 I went back in and showed the tech. She told me it was because my nail bed was shorter? Which even if it was that wouldn't matter because she put tips on so she had control over the length of my nail. I've never had an issue at other salons with my nails being so uneven.

I left feeling stupid without a remedy. I will never go back.

the employees are nice and welcoming, and they offer a variety of options for pedicures and manicures. however, lately it has gone a bit downhill with cleanliness. the chairs and arm rests have dust and crud on them and the floors are not cleaned regularly. the tools appear to be reused and not sanitized between customers. the tools are in a plastic box and are returned to the box and placed on their work cart when done. the tools do not come out of a sealed bag or jar with cleaner/sanitizer like other places do.

I booked online. The online appointment said I was supposed to be with Kelvin. I was with some woman whose name I don't know. I don't care that the person changed, just thought it was weird. I booked the Downtown Pedicure with a paraffin wax. The pedicure came with regular nail polish, which I was totally fine with. The woman doing my pedicure would not take no for an answer when asking if I wanted gel polish instead. She asked 5 times before I finally just said, "it's fine. Just do whatever." I was clearly unhappy. She didn't do the paraffin wax. The employees that didn't have clients were all sitting next to the woman doing my nails talking. Not the most relaxing environment. I regret going here.

I went for a walk-in this afternoon after seeing several recommendations on Facebook. Everyone on Facebook talked about how they serve wine with their pedicures and I have been so anxious lately I just wanted to relax and enjoy being pampered. I justified the fact it was walk in bc it was early afternoon on a weekday. I tend to bite my nails and hadn't gotten a professional manicure in several months, so I decided I needed to get some gel polish to help me not bite them, and then my feet just desperately needed a pedicure, again planning on getting gel polish. I walk in, and the young man who greeted me was easily the best part of the whole experience. He was very nice and when I mentioned I had never been there before he nicely showed me where I needed to go and how I needed to check in, etc. (Him doing the bare minimum says something about how he was the best part of the experience). I go sit down and the girl who was getting ready to do my pedicure was stunning but just not very social. Which is fine by me but I couldn't help but feel like I was bothering her. Was I not picking an expensive enough service for her? Are my feet that horrendous? Idk. Then a man came over and he was much more sociable and he's having me soak my hands while I'm sitting there getting my pedicure done- okay fine. But I ended up getting the entirety of my manicure done in the pedicure chair. Fast? Yes. Comfy/Relaxing? No. It was so awkward. I asked before he got started about doing a soft gel on my hands bc it was advertised on the menu they gave me and said how much better it was for your nails than regular gel, and both him and the pedicurist kind of went off on me and said I can't get soft gel bc he doesn't do soft gel, someone else would have to come. Okay?? I'm sorry I didn't even know what it was, you're not even explaining it to me. So I just got regular gel which is fine but idk. They also only had like 4 cards of nail polish for me to look at and most of it was bright, neons, or sparkly. I just felt forced to pick a color. I'll probably give them another shot bc the quality of the services were good/okay but it seemed like everyone else in the salon was enjoying themselves WAY more than I was.

I got Ritsy Pedicure with gel, manicure with gel, and left 30% tips for both the pedicurist and manicurist, totaling like ~$125. The price is fine for me, I just wish they made me feel more relaxed/less like a nuisance to them.
