Betty not only does hair, but does facials and I can tell you that a facial from her is wonderful. This rating is on the facials..... Dim the lights and turn on the soft music... She first dips your hands in parafin and wraps them. Then you lie down on the table and she covers you. It is like being in a cocoon and very comfortable.\ Then she thoroughly cleans your face (including black heads etc) and puts on a mask. Last time she used a vitamin C mask on me and it was wonderful. While the mask is drying she massages your feet and legs. Then she removes the parafin from your hands and puts lotion on your hands and arms - massaging as she does. Then she massages your shoulder and neck area. She has magic fingers for this. I often wish that she would not stop. She moves the mask thoroughly and adds creams to your face.. All of this takes about an hour and is thoroughly enjoyable. My face feels so soft when she is done and I actually wish that I could just lay back down and take a long nap because it is so relaxing. I hope I haven't left anything out of her facial procedure...... Best of all. Price is under $50. Best $50 I ever spent. She will also does waxing during the facial for extra costs, but the cost is much lower than other salons charge..

I remember going to Betty back when I was in high school. She has her little salon set up in the Aurora Village Senior Apartments. Kind of random, I know.. but my grandma and family are close friends with her so when I needed to get my hair done for school dances my mom dragged me to her. I loved how she'd look at any picture I'd bring in and try her best to re-create it. Almost always, she'd style my hair way better than the picture. She also does facials and false eyelashes. Haven't visited her in awhile.. hope she's still around!
