Bethesda Nail Salon in Bethesda, MD

Unfortunately, since the new owner took over, there have been many changes. The original ladies are so warm and caring, but the new owner has completely changed the tone of the place. She has added way more chairs and raised the prices twice. She just cares about making money. She's even charging a credit card processing fee now. You can tell there is a lot of fear around her, and the place has a really tense vibe now. I hate going there now. I'll be looking for a new nail salon.

Transcendent experience! Most gentle nail removal I'd ever had in my life! And that is not just the complimentary wine talking! I had jacked up my feet like I always do and the salon was so understanding and kind! I have been put on BLAST for my trotters. (I'm a clumsy woman okay!) Steph is a sweet angel of mercy who did not shame me for disasterous toes, but instead gave me tips and tricks to avoid a future issues! The focus here really seems to be on health over asthetic, which I really appreciated. Space is also beautiful and clean!

We went to get our nails done and they messed up our appointment time. Which is totally ok because things happen but they we're blaming us for it and that we had to rush through our appointment. She took off a tiny bit off nail polish from my prior nails but I've had the last ones for so long that there was barely anything there. After starting to do my nails she never cleaned my nails and I had to tell her what to cut. She then started gluing my tips and I had to tell her they weren't gluing and I asked if it was supposed to be like that because I was genuinely asking. She was like oh no and fixed it. She then glued on the third one completely sideways. I was like bruh but not showing it. Then she was like " this product is bad, and the glue doesn't work, and it not staying on ur nail" . I was like okay we can do normal nail polish then. And she was like right away "ok sorry about that it's just not working". Like what do you mean it's not working???? Don't advertise dip if you can't do dip...also I was very nice about it and said thank you no worries and just sat until my aunt was done. She then CHARGED US for me. never coming here again. They don't know what they are doing.

amazing vibe and customer service. i've been to 8 salons in the area and this is the best overall.

This place is fantastic. The whole bunch of them ... friendly as can be and very accommodating. Saw a new person, Jen, I believe, and she was great. I came out feeling like a million dollars. Not a fancy place, but you will indeed receive "fancy" first class service.
