This is the Ulta located in the Gretna outlet mall. Parking is challenging on weekends near this store. Products are well displayed, and you will get help if needed by a staff member. Lights are always bright, and displays are organized. Even though it is located here at an outlet mall, prices are the same compared to other Ulta stores.
Ulta used to be a place I enjoyed going to & the girls always did a great job. Yesterday a guy helped me and acted like he knew everything which was extremely discouraging considering I know makeup very well. He shade matched me and did a terrible job. My makeup was way too light. I started to tell him that and he tried to argue that no my face looks perfect and why my makeup should be lighter. He put so much powder on my face I raced home to get it off it made my face so stiff. I woke up this morning and have red spots all over my face irritated. I'm so upset, I've always loved Ulta.... I will not go in that store again and will order online from now on. I don't recommend this location.
The staff was friendly and able to answer all beauty related questions. The store was clean, bright, and very welcoming. Opening time was great and not delayed by Covid concerns.
I had to run into Ulta to pick up some face lotion yesterday and it was a great experience.
The employees were super nice, (I walked in with my friend, who is a woman, and they offered her a bag to purchase stuff, and then naturally my friend said that we were there for me. Laughter ensued, it was pretty funny).
But I asked where items were and they were very quickly able to physically show me where they were, which was nice. We also asked where Voodoo Taco was and they were able to point us in the right direction.
Overall, the employees were super nice and were able to help me find the items that I was looking for.
