I shop at Sephora for a reason. I started my day at this ulta location, I had a return (with no receipt). I am from a small town so the only way to get this product is to order through ulta, my preferred choice. At least it was, I wanted to return an item and there was a woman with a slicked back pony, looked like a manager, that made me feel as if I stole the item. I don't think I saw her smile once. Every person she "helped" prior to me she had the same attitude. She made me feel as though I was the problem. I completed my transaction and continued on to Sephora. SO FRIENDLY AND SO NICE! Sephora = Target. This Ulta= Walmart. I've never left a review before and the woman supervising was that awful it made me want to make an account. Only getting 2 instead of 1 because the actual worker/cashier/new hire was so sweet and friendly.

They got me in right away for a haircut. I had to wait for the only stylist to get off her break which wasn't a problem. A little odd getting a haircut in a public place, but not bad. The stylist was pushing me to buy an expensive smoothing treatment and showed me a video. I told her a few times I didn't want it. I told her I just wanted a trim. She suggested layers a few times and dying my hair. I kept telling her no. She told me my scalp had pimples and counted them. That was embarrassing plus I didn't know I had them. Another employee was standing there snickering and I felt like they were making fun of me. The stylist said I had greasy hair and my hair was too curly. It was a hot day and it was raining. I'm sure my hair wasn't in the best shape. It was very rude. She kept making comments about my hair being greasy and curly. Not the right way to make an upsell. She stopped a few times to talk to customers and coworkers and friends. She washed my hair and blow dried it and flat ironed it. It looked frizzy, but it was raining and hot and humid. My hair felt soft after. I felt like the stylist was wildly inappropriate and had horrific manners and was just trying to nickel and dime me.

Stephen cut and colored my hair two months ago and it still looks immaculate, the cut , perfect. I missed my follow up appointment due to Covid safety but have been kicking myself since. See Stephen , he really set my anxiety at ease and even felt relaxing . Great job.

This location will be the death of me. I swear.

This is my go to location because I live closest to this one, and because my place of work is very close as well. Because who doesn't love convenience, am I right?

Even though the employees are attentive, and always smiling I've had some rather disappointing experiences. One time I had a rather painful experience. You would think the brow bar person would be quite knowledgeable about all things brows, and ask questions before waxing to make sure everything goes smoothly. Well, I was using prescribed benzoyl peroxide at the time and the wax took layers of skin. MOTHER OF AFRICA it hurt so bad for daaaays! Be informed when getting waxed y'all. The consequences are painful. Not beauty is pain painful, but like you regret your decisions painful.

I also just went to Ulta for three products I wanted to try. Too faced born this way foundation, bare minerals foundation stick, and morphe concealer, they were out of my color for every single one. What the heck! That doesn't usually happen, and I don't know why it did. But I was pretty sad leaving Ulta empty handed.

Your best bet might be to order online and just pick it up at this location or to just get it mailed straight to you. You'll be a much happier version of yourself.

I'm not even going to lie I've just recently gotten into beauty and cosmetics stuff for real but, I LOVE Ulta Beauty, it will now be my go to place for make-up and beauty products. Jackie was my cashier and she was so great, and professional and charismatic. It was my first time going and honestly I can't wait to go back. Amazing!
