The owner is an artist when it comes to cutting hair. She can give you pretty layers and beautiful shaping, sophisticated styles. Never a bad cut.

Wow, this place is awful. I would never go back. I went in to get some highlights, and she dyed my hair darker to cover the gray. I came out with darker hair than I went in with. The owner was a real piece of work. She was controlling and bossy, and she treated me like a piece of trash. She tried to tell me what color highlights that I should get. The owner gossiped to another customer about how I had a lot of gray in my hair more than the client whose hair she was coloring. She even said that my hair looked dirty, and I had just washed it the night before. It was completely clean. The owner instructed the junior apprentice to have me stand while she cut my hair because it was so long. I stood there for at least twenty minutes, and my feet were sore afterwards. The owner came over after the process, and she mentioned how great my hair looked. I just laughed because I was completely dissatisfied. I had asked for highlights and my hair was darker. I have gone to higher end salons, and it is possible to cover gray without completely dying someone's hair. After all that, I also noticed that there were spots where my gray wasn't even covered. I mentioned it to the owner, and she knocked off thirty bucks. However, the whole experience was a nightmare....That wasn't much help, and there are more spots/patches where the gray is showing through, not at the roots. I only had it colored a week ago, and I'm using color extend shampoo and conditioner. I say go to Michelle at David Alexander's if you want to get a nice highlight or color. It will cost more, but she does an excellent job. Not to mention, she is far more professional and she won't treat you in a disrespectful manner and insult you.

This is the place to go for anything!!! Her years of experience takes the stress out of what to get done. I've been coming here for a year and a half and have lived in the area for 10+ yrs. I wish I could have found her then. Prices are just right and shop is very relaxing!!!

A couple years ago I was invited to a 1940s themed costume party and I needed to find a stylist who could emulate a hairstyle from that era. After I sent her pictures of a couple options, MaryAnn created a perfect style for me! I was so pleased with the style, I started to go to Bella Via for all of my hair services including cut and highlight (balayage). For my wedding this June, MaryAnn and her assistant styled my hair and the hair of all of the ladies in my family! As always, they did a fabulous job! I highly recommend Bella Via Salon!

Went online searching for a local hair salon and I am MORE than pleasantly surprised and GRATEFUL! As soon as you walk in the atmosphere and energy is welcoming where friendly faces greet you. Cari Fisher (you read that right) did a professionally FANTASTIC job with my highlights/lowlights and haircut not to mention she is the Edgewater medium as she works her psychic magic on your hair. Honestly, my color looks so natural and I feel younger when I look in the mirror. Cari is a keeper! Another perk was the shampoo professional who gave a soothing and relaxing head massage, ahhhh. OK, I seriously didn't know these people from 'Adam' and I am a forever customer now. Lastly, MaryAnn, the owner and stylist is very serious about your positive experience and satisfaction and the rock behind all things beautiful in this salon. Namaste!
