I've come to this spot before multiple times and gotten a Brazilian wax and I decided to get one yesterday. I felt like the wax was a little too hot but I didn't say anything because I trusted the lady's judgment. It hurt way more than usual when she ripped out my hair (and probably skin) but I just dismissed the pain as being because of the two-month gap I took in between my last wax & without shaving or trimming. Today, I woke up to see that my skin down there is burned and red! It feels so sore to the touch and that's never happened before in the 2+ years that I've been getting Brazilians! No amount of aloe yesterday & today could take away the sensitivity of my skin. The lady is so nice and it hurts for me to write this review but I also saw her double dipping in the wax pot multiple times during the entire waxing session (face & bikini area) which is such a huge no-no. I'll be going elsewhere to get waxes from now on!
They moved off Babcock right next to Nadlers bakery. I purchased a groupon for a wax. Made an appointment and showed up to get the service. Tina was not there. Her coworkers told me two different stories as to why she wasnt there. I never got a call or a text from Tina to tell me she couldn't keep our appointment. Totally unprofessional and rude. Go somewhere else.
Absolutely not! This place needs to poof be gone. Here is my reasoning for a one star... (I would give it negative stars if I could) Didn't realize this location was inside of what you would call a mall I guess? It's basically a swap meet inside a building.. anywho, I couldn't find the location so called to ask what they were next to and for one the lady was extremely rude. She said she was next to a K-Mart but there was no K-Mart in the mall, so I clarified K-Mart was meant to be Stein Mart.. showed up and asked for a medium sized henna. Looked through the book of designs and picked one. As shown in the pics I attached, the one I asked for looks nothing like the one I got. It was so awful I couldn't even lie and say it looked good just to be nice. This I cannot lie about! One of the worst kindergarten looking henna tattoos I have ever received. When she said she was done with the design, I literally looked at her like... in such disbelief and just left. Never ever again will I return. If you are going to offer a photo book of henna designs.. please make sure you know what you are doing. What a waste of time.
The worst henna ever. Do not waste your money. I was nice and gave her ten bucks and regret it later. But learned my lesson. Never going back again!
If you go here only let Fatima thread your eyebrows. I've been a customer for years. Today a young woman thread my eyebrows & she went too short on one. I will not be returning because they didn't offer NOT to charge me.
