Beauty Brands in Lee's Summit, MO

I recently had a truly disappointing experience with BeautyBrands.com that I feel compelled to share. I placed an online order, only to have it inexplicably canceled without any notification. What's even more frustrating is that the reason provided was "previous online order issues," yet no one from Beauty Brands bothered to reach out and inform me about the cancellation.

As a loyal customer, this lack of communication is deeply disappointing. I understand that mistakes happen, but the least I expect is transparency and proper customer service. Cancelling an order without any notice is not only inconvenient but also disrespectful to customers who have chosen to support your brand.

I have always enjoyed shopping at Beauty Brands and have recommended it to friends and family in the past. However, this recent experience has left a sour taste in my mouth. It's disheartening to see such a lack of consideration for customers who have invested time and money into your products.

I hope that Beauty Brands takes this feedback seriously and works to improve its communication and customer service protocols. As a customer, I value transparency, respect, and timely updates. I hope my feedback helps to prevent similar situations in the future and that Beauty Brands can regain my trust.

I went to this location for a lash lift. I liked the girl, very friendly and I've gone to her for a massage once before.
Somehow 24 ish hours later I'm pulling glue out of my eye. I ignored it at first but when I kept pulling glue out 3 days later and nearly unable to use my eye I called and went to the eye doctor. When I called the shift manager did not seem to care, her response was "oh goodness"
The lady that did my service heard about it and followed up with me and suggested I speak to the actually manager instead. She was very kind and understanding and ask what I wanted done. I told her I wanted my money back and my dr bill paid for ($80)
She gave me my money back for the service but told me that her district office had to handle the doctor bill. That was Friday (6/24) and I haven't heard anything other than "you're on my list to call"
I'm very disappointed with all of this. My family was very panicked that permanent damage could have been done and beauty brands did not take it seriously at all. I really tried to be calm and understanding but I just want it to be done with and I'm getting ignored.
The district office should have handled it when I tried to reach out instead of making the manager handle it

The staff was very nice. The lady that did my hair was super sweet and she did a great job putting the correct colors and doing my hair how I wanted. Unfortunately, she left dye stained on my scalp, ears, and the side of my face.
I spent about $150 on my hair and went to this salon in order to achieve the color I wanted. I expected to be met with professionalism but instead, it looks like I used Splat dye to get my color.
Like I said, she was very sweet and did a great job on my hair, but I'm a bit frustrated with the unprofessional stains I have left on my head.

This store just needs to get it together. There are a few very sweet stylist but maybe only 2. The rest act like customers are a huge inconvenience of their time. Bad attitudes and bad hair!

If I could give zero stars for this particular employee I would. My 11 year old daughter had a semi permanent half blue and half pink hair dye in. We were told a "bleach wash" is what would be good for her...turns out not so much.
I made an appointment with "master stylist" Shelley for a cut/color for my daughter in hopes to get rid of the now half yellow/half green hair she now had. I explained that she needed to cut off the ends (time for a new cut) and that I wanted to even out the color as best as possible and get it to an ashier color and not so brassy.
She agreed and started with a trim. Okay fine. Then she told me she was going to put in "clenditioner" on the green side of her hair in hopes of neutralizing some of the green. She said my daughter could leave it on as long as she likes. In my thinking, I thought it was some protective barrier before she started bleaching/dying her hair. My daughter comes around not 5 minutes later with her hair in a french braid and Shelley said she is done. Uhhhhh excuse me? And I told her, "Well what happened? She's just going to have to deal with the yellow? And what if the green doesn't go all away?" She had the audacity to respond, "Well, I'm not charging you for the green if you know what I mean."

So I got to pay 25.00 dollars for her to put some conditioner in my daughters hair and cut off about three inches off the end? It wasn't even a real haircut. It was a trim. And I know she wasn't busy because I had scheduled an appointment with her directly after my daughters was supposed to be done, SO happy I cancelled after seeing what she did to my daughter.

This isn't my first run in with her either. She cut my mothers hair awhile ago, and my mother wasn't happy with what was done and was trying to explain to her what she wanted, all the while Shelley was arguing about it and didn't even do what my mom asked.

Shelley is very unprofessional for a master stylist, and quite frankly...pretty darn lazy. For someone who starts out at charging 110.00 for cut/color, you'd think that she would give better customer service.
