I have been coming here for years and it's not until recently where I've noticed change in service. I've noticed that whenever they are unable ( have no knowledge) of how to do a style they will say( nobody gets these, this is too much) instead of saying we can't do this. If you're looking for trending( current) braids styles do not come here. They are very traditional African braiders and are no up to speed with newer braiding styles

They don't listen to what you want or ask for when it comes to length. They do a good job but I won't be back.

I AM VERY DISAPPOINTED, I call to get my hair done and she (Fosta) is very happy and nice, I go there show her the picture of what I wanted she said "that's tooo muchhhh" "just get braids " I was like "can I please just get this style "(faux locs) I get the style .. and she just keeps going on and on about how nobody gets this style .. so fast foward my hair is done I pay $180, I leave go home.. next day they're already unraveling.. I'm like wtf ! Sooo I call her 2 days later bc nobody could take me to get my hair done so she says when I get in the shop " YOU DID THIS YOURSELF " "I SHOULD MAKE YOU PAY FOR THIS" and I KNOW I DIDNT DO THIS MYSELF SHE JUST DID IT WRONG, nowwwww she fixed my hair abt 7 unraveled and she fixed abt 5!.. I get home I'm pleased I'm okay , next day THE ONES SHE DID ARE COMING OUT.. $180?????? I payed $1800000??)? For this bullshit then I can't even go back cause she told me not to !

i got my hair done here today! first of all the girl that did my hair took all day then when they first started i asked how much was it gonna be she said 86.. but when i finished i end up paying 96$.. then she knew that what she told me but they did nothing about it.. i should of known something was wrong when the lady before me was upset about the price and how her hair came out.. i use to come here in highschool.. but i will neverrrrr come here again and i dont suggest anyone else to come here either.. theres more africans to go around but that shit they pulled today was some bullshit.. beware! oh and my stylist name was shantell.

I called the shop and went in on Saturday, July 15th for Senegalese Twists. Two braiders were assigned to do my hair. One was very gentle... the other was EXTREMELY heavy handed. I brought it to her attention several times and she refused to let up for more than a second. The other workers passed by and noticed my discomfort and displeasure and offered words of comfort. Of course, they speak in their own language and who knows what they are saying???!!! I continued to be miserable as it was too far along to stop. Oh and I chose the size of the braids I wanted. Needless to say, in the end, they were NOT the same. These were larger than I wanted. The finished product was NOT good! I didn't like it AT ALL!!!! At finish, I pulled out my credit card to pay....... the braiders said they could not accept a card because the Manager had already left the shop for the day and they could only accept cash at that point. WELL..... WHO KNEW???!!!! I ended up having to drive (out of my way) to my Bank to get cash. One of the braiders (the gentle one) rode with me to get the $$$. I paid for the service, expressed my displeasure to the two braiders..... and left! I called the shop yesterday (took until then for my head to finally stop aching) and spoke to a gentleman that apparently picks up the line after normal business hours. I explained my issue to him. He offered to have me come in the next to day see the Owner because she had already left for the day. There were still braiders inside the shop working when I pulled up. I told him that I was there and would go inside to see if anyone could assist me by cutting the hair a little shorter and making the ends neater. The braider on duty was very pleasant and offered to try to fix it for me. She did the best she could, but it was just okay. I want a FULL refund!!!
