Beauty Barn Salon and Spa in Flagstaff, AZ

I was referred to this location nearby the location we were staying at. I came in a few days prior to my appointment to discuss what I wanted and Alison had time this week, so I scheduled it. I was there for 2 hours and loved every minute. The salon is cute, clean and above all, very welcoming and kind. My hair is curly and that always is a concern. I haven't cut or colored my hair since before Covid, so I was nervous. I have been aging a lot lately and the gray hair is coming in fast and furious. Alison nailed the cut and color! I am so happy with the outcome and look forward to seeing Alison and the owner of Beauty Barn again soon even if I live 11 hours away

I saw Alison's ad on Facebook and talked with her. Told her I wanted a balayage and to go lighter overall. I wanted change. I sent her the first photo which was how my hair looked before. She sent me photos back (I'll insert) saying..."I think the pictures I showed you is what I can definitely give you and probably exceed even the expectation of that"... but when I left the salon and got into different lighting and angles, my hair was completely patchy and hardly any different from before. It even looked nothing like the photos she said it could look like. She said toner would lighten my hair too. It didn't. I asked if she could add more color, she agreed but only one side... I decided it wasn't even worth traveling an hour out again. I asked for a partial refund but she refused and said "it was a nightmare from when you walked through the door." I felt rushed out and I'm completely sad about the outcome. She threatened to take me to small claims court if I disputed the charge too. I trusted her with my hair. I even tipped her $20. :(

For me it's all about the color! I like to enhance my own color and Faith does it with perfection. She knows the ins and outs of color and I am so happy with the outcome every time! With Covid, I feel completely safe there as masks are required and when I get my color done, the only two people in the salon, are Faith and I. She books up quickly so make sure you schedule ahead of time. You will not be disappointed!

People here are wonderful and amazing. Great conversation. Clean, helpful, good styles. All your beauty needs fulfilled.

Just called for an appointment for nails. They told me there is only one nail technician and her book is closed. She is not taking anymore new clients. Wanted to pass this along.
