B&B Hair Color Studio in Princeton, NJ

Tim gave me the best cut and balayage of my life! I moved to the area almost a year ago and had been traveling the hour to my former salon because I was nervous to find someone new (past terrible experiences in mind). I took a leap of faith based on the yelp reviews and I'm so glad I did. Tim knew exactly what I wanted and needed based on a chat and an assessment of my hair. I realized halfway through that I forgot to show him pictures but he asked questions as he went and used his knowledge to great effect. Hair genius! It's been a couple of months now and my cut and color are still looking great.

Tim and Kate are ARTISTS and PROS at what they do. I have been going to them since February of 2020 and I make the drive every time just to see them. Not only does your hair come out exactly the way you wanted, but they are a blast to chat with and I always have a great time being around them. Fun, charismatic, kind, and they take their time to ensure your hair comes out perfect! Attached are photos of my experiences here and they are absolutely perfect. I cannot wait for my next time and I always look forward to seeing them again. They also have beautiful products and I am an avid user of their Amika brand that they feature in the salon. I really cannot say enough fantastic things about these two and their salon. I can't wait to be back!

I've been coming to B&B for about a year for my platinum blonde highlights and cuts. Tim and Kate are talented, professional, knowledgeable and overall great people to be around. Most recently I had the Keratin treatment which smoothed and straightened my frizzy curls and left my blonde hair feeling smooth as silk. You won't find better colorists than B&B!!

So I went to this salon today with 3 Photos and I was extremely nervous but Tim had a way of taking all 3 photos (that were all a little different) and reading my mind and giving me the best hair cut I ever had!! Hands down! I honestly don't take that statement lightly... I can't wait to go back to him and see what he can do with color also.

I visited this salon for a consultation before getting any work done. The owner seemed disinterested and spoke poorly about the work that had been done on my hair. When I arrived for my appointment, he was cold and unprofessional. During a haircut I heard him on the telephone speaking loudly, upset about all of his cancellations (and swearing as well). He may be good at what he does, but his demeanor and lack of professionalism will keep me from going back.
