Being new to the area, it's always a struggle with finding YOUR hair stylist and this move has been no different. First off, I really like Asti, the owner, but what she did with my hair has left me with a lot of damage. I went in asking for highlights and copper/strawberry blond low lights, and asked them to be nice and blended instead of chunky. I ended up with large magenta chunks, but I couldn't really tell until I got home. I sent her a message letting her know and she had me return quickly. She saw my issue and commenced to fixing it. Once again, I couldn't really tell the coloring until I got home. Not sure if it's a lighting issue in the salon. The fix made me look like a calico cat with large bright orange chunks. The second chemical treatment did major damage, with the hair literally looking cinged/burnt, and having a great deal of breakage. When I let Asti know she said she couldn't understand why, saying she uses the best products. She offered me to return, but at this point I can't bring myself to go back as my hair has endured more than enough damage. In addition, the cut was terrible. I asked for a side swept bang and long layers and what I got was the majority of my bangs being cut straight across with a butcher flare and the rest looking butchered. Layers are non-existent. I didn't mention the cut issue as I didn't want her touching me with the scissors again. I just pray my hair heals from all the damage.
