Ashley's Hair Studio in Gainesville, GA

I am giving the Ashley a three out of five stars based on a combination of two visits and I want to be fair with my rating. My first visit with her was great. I recieved an excellent cut and she was very professional. It was a FIVE star visit! Which is why I, later down the road, booked another appointment. My second appointment I showed up three minutes late because I was unaware she changed locations but I did give her a courtesy call to let her know. Upon arrival, I was greeted professionally and told it "would be a minute" or maybe a few minutes I am not exactly sure, so I waited for the next 25 minutes before I asked how much longer it would before it was my turn. Ashley stated it would probably be another five minutes, however I had to be at work at 6:35 and she wouldn't be available until maybe 6:00. I had to leave without a hair cut that was very much needed and given an apoligy. My grievance with all of this is that when I arrived for my appointment she knew it would take an additional thirty minutes or more, couldnt I have been told that so maybe I might drive to the next place and potentially get the cut I DESPERATELY needed versus being told it would be just a minute. The additional frustration with this, is that I booked this appointment 3 days in advance before I had to go to work because I am a night RN and working 5 to 6 nights a week to help with the staffing shortage during this pandemic and I usually only have one hour prior to work to get anything that I personally need done. On that note, I understand what it is like to not have enough time to accomplish everything in a timely manner, however I think if I was offered another time that was accommodating to my schedule in the next few days I would have had no grievances. I would happily change this review if that was an option that was offered.
