I was told AHD and Trish were the best people to work for for my wedding and I'm here to say it was 100% true! I was coming from out of town so there was a fair amount a stress and planning before hand but as soon as I sat down in Trish's chair it was a dream. I have a lot of curly hair and I didn't really know what I wanted. I showed her a bunch of pictures that really didn't go but she was able to figure out what I wanted and my hair was stunning! She gave me some advice on my veil as well which make a huge difference! I ended up visiting AHD 4 times in a 2 week period between trial, hair wash/style, wax and to celebrate their 11th birthday. Every time I was made to feel like family.

Update: I've been seeing Tricia for a year now and have asked her to cut my hair progressively shorter every few months. I've never had my hair this short but I trust Tricia completely; she never fails to give me a fantastic cut that I love and that still draws compliments daily. I'm down to 2 styling products and it takes me just 6 minutes to style my hair every day -- so I can spend more time in bed each morning buried under my cats. :)

Answer to my prayers!!! Tricia saved my hair!  
I had recently received a haircut from another upscale salon. I won't name which salon but I had gone in with several pictures and what I came out with was nothing like what I requested. I had a 5 minute consult with Tricia, showed her my pictures and she knew immediately how to fix my hair. Thank goodness bc I was ready to "Brittany Spears it" and I don't mean Brittany's golden long locks. I mean boot camp GI Jane Brittany. I knew as soon as I saw my hair that this is going to be my salon for now on. I cannot stop staring at my hair  I just love it. Thank God for Asheville Hair Design and Tricia.

Hair emergency! I'm temporarily in town and got my hair cut elsewhere, which was all fine and good until it became very clear to me that the stylist didn't know how to cut wavy hair. After living with a blunt cut, little movement, and an awkward shape for two weeks too long, I decided to look on Yelp for curly hair salons for a fix. Asheville Hair Design was the first place I called. I explained the situation,  they told me they could squeeze me in at the end of the day, and 90 minutes later I was sitting in Tricia's chair. She took one look, said "I know what to do," and 25 minutes later, I was a new woman. At the end of my appointment, she took the time to look up and recommend some salons in my area and told me to come back in a couple days if there were still any issues after styling. Many, many thanks to Tricia for accommodating me so quickly and fixing my haircut!! Highly recommend!!

I can't say enough about Tricia at Asheville Hair Design. I was coming through town on a tight time frame with a bit of a hair emergency. She truly went above and beyond - she extended her work hours, she listened patiently, she took the time to pause and check in along the way and she did an incredible and professional job. I'd give 10 stars to reflect my gratitude and confidence in recommending her.
