My stylist's name is Leah, and she's the most kind hair stylist I've ever had!! I have had her for about a year, and she always does amazing work on my hair. She also always remembers things about me that I would never expect her to. (Such as my husband's name, she asks about my dogs, and she remembers the hobbies I have.) She even got me a mini cake for my birthday! I have never had such an amazing stylist. If you come to Ash Studio, I would CERTAINLY recommend Leah. She is friendly, bubbly, kind, and patient. She even does my husband's hair since he has rather long hair, and it always looks amazing!
I have seen some of the other stylists, and they all seem kind and professional as well. I can't say I've had appointments with them, but while seeing them from afar, I can say they really do care about their clients and do amazing work. I think Ash Studio is an all-around amazing place to get your hair done!
Great hair salon in South Salem. Ashley is the owner and has cut my hair many times. They have multiple hair dresser that work here that specialize in color and extensions.
I got hand tied extensions from jc- and I need to say what she doesn't tell you about the extensions online: she clamps metal pieces into your hair so hard only she can remove them-- and for 400$$. The hair was not good quality, I put product and oil and brushed them every day, braided my hair at night and the extensions ended up dreading up at the base. I paid over 1000$ to have her install the hair and for the mediocre hair, and she didn't even dye them to match my roots like she said she was going to, or tone my hair to be less yellow. She didn't cut my actual hair to blend more with the extensions so they never matched. She didn't care what they looked like If I wasn't paying 2000$ for everything. She makes it so hard to find real reviews on the internet so I hope people will be able to see this and know : DO NOT PUT METAL CLAMPS IN YOUR HAIR.
I had my very first appointment here with Jaycie. It was such a great environment. From the beginning, I was greeted by another employee and felt comfortable. The salon itself is very clean and modern.
I went in not knowing exactly what I needed and Jaycie was amazing and talking through what some options were until we found the best fit. We agreed on a color correction and cut. She was able to give me a cut that framed my face perfectly and fell very nicely considering the amount of hair I have. My hair was treated by someone outside of Ash Studio and was very uneven and had an unsatisfactory color to it. Once Jaycie was finished, I could not be more in love with my hair - I was obsessed with how spot on she left my hair. It was also great to hear all of Jaycie's knowledge on hair and hair care. Jaycie and Ash Studio gained a lifelong client!
I am visiting my mom, and she surprised me with a cut and color with Jenny. What an AMAZING experience. She truly knows hair. I have been needing to cut a lot of my hair off, but haven't felt comfortable, until I went to ASH, and got Jenny! She is so incredibly knowledgable, and so sweet, she made me feel so comfortable, and like I knew her and could really trust her...and, I'm SO glad I did. Not only did she cut off length, she gave me gorgeous color, and the cut is stunning! It is truly flattering, and she also took into account my curly, dry hair, and made it beautiful again! I cannot say enough great things about ASH, AND about JENNY! I fully recommend them to anyone! They are an amazing Salon, and I was quite lucky that my mom gave them (and especially Jenny) as a gift!
