So this review is long overdue I usually don't give horrible reviews BUT I had my hair extensions done by Andi, it ended up being 900$s and they stayed in 11 days and I left with a ridiculous mullet, my hair wasn't super short so blending shouldn't have been a problem. When I left I had to glue two tracks on the top of my head just so I could go in public, the worst part was when they started falling out a couple days later I called Andi and asked her to fix it, she wanted to CHARGE me more $ and said it was my fault I must have been putting the straightener too close to my head LOL wouldn't I burn my head if I did that?? I will say, the extensions were quality and I was able to cut of the tips and glue them to my glue ins. Hopefully Andi has gotten better and learned how to blend or at least owns up to her mistakes and fixes them.

I referred my coworker to this salon (and a different stylist). Our appointments were at 12:30 (same time as mine- we came came in together). Upon arrival we are told her stylist isn't here yet ( I think her name is Sareena). They offer her a glass of wine and instead bring her grape juice- classy. One thirty rolls around and she is still waiting! At 1:40 her stylist arrives. To our surprise, she has another client before my coworker. They apologize and set her up with another stylist...only to leave her there for another twenty minutes. She sent me a text when she left at almost 2pm. They never even started on her hair. I referred a friend and was horribly disappointed and embarrassed by this disastrous outcome. I called the owner, Andy, to complain about my friend's appointment. I called twice and my friend called once. She has never called back. Shame on you Aqua fx. You lost my business, and that of ALL of my coworkers, friends, and future patients.

All I can say is Andi the owner of Aqua is simply AMAZING! No one knows I wear extensions...... truly the work of an artist...... I am pampered and never feel rushed during the process. Andi is a perfectionist, which is an asset when you work in the aesthetics and hair industry. Thanks for helping feel beautiful :-)

Eyelash extensions by Van. My esthetician mentioned that all her clients with the best lashes rave about Van at Aqua FX. I was so delighted since I wasn't happy with my other girl that made my lashes look like a beauty school freebie. Van did a phenomenal job - afterwards someone even called me "Miss Hollywood" (in a good way)! Second time around I chose a "Natural Look with cruved lashes", fourth time I chose more dramatic with curved lashes. (The curved lash makes it more visible so you don't end up putting mascara over them and allows me to wear sunglasses without fear of lashes rubbing). Dramatic looks like falsies, if you like that look. I have a 'dramatic natural' right now but prefer even more natural lol. Still look like falsies up close - but look great in photos and you can still see each individual lash so it's not a clumpy mess of blackness. Each lash is seperate, curved and positioned in the proper direction. My last girl had all the lashes on my left eye slanted outwardsand the lashes on my right eye going straight up. It was ridiculous and the same price as Van's quality work! Got complimented at Starbucks today and recommended Van. My go to girl for lashes!

Serina is by far the best hairdresser I have had, and I've been too so many. I started out with a groupon and have been going ever since. The pricing is fair and competitive and I always get compliments on my hair. I even sent my mom to her and she does just as amazing as a job. Serina is extremely knowledgable, professional, and just a fun all around person. This will continue to be my salon until she decides to leave or not do hair. Want a great hairdresser? Make sure you ask for Serena.
