Requested a popular style women's haircut. I had an appointment with a stylist, not a master, but not a junior either. The young lady was polite and friendly but was not confident in her abilities. When queried, she said she knew how to do the cut requested but needed extra time. 50% more time. But it's always good to give a person a chance. However, 84 min later, my cut wasn't close to complete and not close to the pictures I provided. She did not know how to do the cut. And, never asked anyone for assistance. My hair HAD to be redone and FIXED by a master stylist. I was there 2 1/2 hours, they charged me full price for original cut. I won't be going back.
Great salon, my only complaint is that I didn't find it sooner. Ok, and maybe parking is annoying but that's no fault of the salon.
Seemed like overpriced services, wasn't totally happy with my hair for roughly $250+, seemed like a lot a work (3hours!) for not much difference. I had balayage done and it wasn't that noticeable. Probably wouldn't return because of the hefty price tag, would rather keep looking for something worth the cost. Salon was nice though, stylists were friendly.
The individual stylists are mostly fine, but I've witnessed the owners being rude and abrupt to long time customers (including myself). It's as though they know they're established and successful and no longer feel the need to improve or work at customer service.
It was a very nice atmosphere, very friendly! Always checked up on ya to see if you were good! I think I found a new spot to do color on my hair since my first time I had a rough time. It was at a salon in Chesapeake, but my first time in aoc salon was amazing! Glad I chose to go there I left very pleased with the results.
