Annas Hair Salon Dominican Style in Hampton, GA

I was recommended this place after paying too much money for bad hair cuts, dealing with very late hair dressers, or having to travel by plane or vehicle a long distance. I saw Anna the owner and showed her several pictures of hairstyles. I think she remembered one and sat me down and basically started clipping before I could see what was done. She went to town! The hair was cut evenly perhaps shorter than I imagined but the shape was on point! Also did I mention how reasonably priced the salon is? So even though my hair was cut shorter than I thought, it's a great cute hair cut. No crazy long questionnaires and $$$ for hair cuts here. Just a haircut for curly hair because honestly curly girls aren't a different species who should have to pay hundreds of dollars for a haircut.

Man No. First time at this salon and I felt like these folks don't like doing black people hair! I came in respectfully asking questions about what style I was going to get done to my hair. This lady literally didn't acknowledge me and tried to do another lady hair when I came in first. I am highly pissed. Dominican or not I was paying for the service so service me!

I was in the area to try out the threading place and decided to give Anna's a try to wash my hair. Just being lazy, as I was supposed to wash it myself tonight for braids tomorrow. There was no one in the salon so i asked about a wash and blow and was told $50. I was saying to myself, wash and blow $50...dang. But i said, what the heck, let me just do. Glad i did. The lady that washed my hair did an amazing job. She washed my hair twice with the second wash scrubbing all over my scalp with some hair device. it was BOMB. She then conditioned and rinse my hair out. She detangled, a little rougher than i would have preferred, and sectioned my hair into 8 parts. The other lady blow dried my hair and it felt so smooth. I would definitely try them again. My hair is natural and i am just trying to get it back healthy and all at one length from it be damaged from another shop.

I have never had my hair taken care of they way they do here. I've been natural for 10 years and I take great care of my coils. I decided to get a blow out and trim. My hair was bone straight with an amazing shine. At first I was a little nervous because I didn't think my hair would go back to its natural state when wet..... to my surprise it DID! I will definitely come back for a trim every 6 months or so because I know I won't have to worry about ruining my natural coils. Thanks

I've been going to Anna's hair salon for 12 years. I only get my hair done with Anna, she uses the best products and takes care of my hair during each visit, she has colored my hair and cut it multiple times and I'm really happy with the results. if you want to go from brunette to blonde, Anna is your person to go to, the best colorist I know! The staff is very polite and professional, and they will always welcome you with a cup of coffee. Love this place and i recommend it 100%! - Maria Warren
