From out of town staying at Greek Peak, reviews werent bad so I gave it a try. The actual gel manicure result wasn't bad but this place is super dirty and gross.

Ann Phillips Nails and Spa provided a great experience! This was my first time going there and I will for sure be back! I called the day before for an appointment and they booked me right away. The staff was very pleasant and the man who did my manicure and pedicure was so precise about it and they turned out great! I thought the price for an hour and a half of service was very reasonable as well! (:

I got dip powder nails done here. They looked good at first but chipped severely within a few days. They are supposed to last weeks. They also damaged my nails very badly, and they all broke off after removal.

I came back to visit from California and had my nails done here. This is still my favorite place to go to even though they moved! I typically get the gel over my regular nails and they easily last me 3-4 weeks without chipping EVER. The picture below is almost 3 weeks after i first got them done. I forgot the name of the red gel polish but I'm sure you can ask the owners! They have a selection to pick from.

I chalked last time up to a fluke and decided with the good reviews on Google to give them another try. I ended up with the same guy as last time, and probably should have left right then before ever sitting down. To start, both times he trimmed my nails WAY too short. I made sure to tell him this time I didn't want them that short, but he ignored me and did it anyway. The first time he even cut me multiple times with the clippers because he wasn't careful Then they don't use any kinds of lotions or oils on your hands or cuticles, just water, so if you have dry skin like me, you leave with it actually feeling a whole lot worse. Then the polish: I brought in a picture (both times) and brought up exactly the polish I wanted - a near-nude pink that would match well with a lot of different things and be good for work. He told me "That won't look nice, I'll pick your polish - it'll be better." It wasn't really what I wanted but wasn't terrible, and I figured it would still look okay with the accent design I wanted (that he had seen from the picture). Once he got through multiple coats and used the magnet to make designs with one hand I absolutely *hated* it (he used bright pink which is 1000000% not my style - the first coat wasn't bad but after multiple it just got worse and worse), but he had already spent so much time I figured he was too far along to redo it since they were close to closing. He got to the accent nail and then told me they couldn't/wouldn't do any of it (which he did last time as well with the French tips). He then said he chose that polish because he could charge me more - he never said the polish was more expensive or that it was color changing until it was already on. At this point I'm livid but don't want to make a scene, I just want to leave, but I had also scheduled a spa pedicure. He ended up only doing a regular pedicure because they were so close to closing. He then told me at least 12 times that I look like I have money, I must be rich, asked where I work and how much I make - it was incredibly uncomfortable, not to mention wholly inaccurate. I only get my nails done maybe 2x a year to treat myself (more often if I can find somewhere that I like), and this was beyond disappointing. I left feeling terrible, and angry at having just spend $60 on something I really hate and an incredibly uncomfortable hour. I already have plans to visit another salon as soon as physically possible to get this god-awful 90s Malibu Barbie pink off my hands. It's such a shame because Ann and Phillip seem so nice, but because of these two experiences with this gentleman I absolutely will never be back.
