Today was my second visit to Always Hair. I met the owner, Steve Thompson, at a local networking event months ago and stopped by his shop a few days later for a cut. It was a great cut and the "finishing", as Steve puts it, was a treat. The finishing entailed trimming my side burns and eyebrows just so. I mean clipping individual hairs just so. Then he went to work on my beard by evening it out, shaping it and straightening the mustache above the lip. He said that he hates it when he has his hair cut and they don't "finish". I thought, "I've been going to Supercuts too long cause no one has ever 'finished' me like this. I didn't review him then. Perhaps he was just giving me extra good treatment because his shop was new or because we were both members of some community organizations, or ??? It just didn't seem right at the time for some reason. So today I went back. I got a great cut, Steve spent time making it right. And as before, he meticulously "finished" me by trimming sideburns, eyebrows and beard. The first visit was obviously no fluke. Steve takes time and takes pride in his craft, qualities that I admire. And it is now time to acknowledge his professionalism. If you want a really great cut or style or coloring, I highly recommend Steve Thompson and Always Hair. And you too will feel pampered as he "finishes" you.
