The bad thing about making an appointment with this place is, if someone comes in 5 minutes before your appointment you will wait because Suzanne doesn't care if she makes you wait 45 minutes for your scheduled appointment.
I walked in last Friday morning and booked an appointment for a basic trim for my long straight hair with the owner/stylist Suzan, for the following Wednesday morning at 10 am. I showed up at 10 am to be told that my appointment was for tomorrow. I asked her if today was Wednesday, because, I firmly remembered confirming verbally that my appt. was for 10 am Wed. I also wrote it down as soon as I got in my car. She said, "They" put it in the book for Thurs. I then replied, "it was you". She then tells me that I can wait 45 min., or reschedule. I said no thanks, and left. The owner called me a little over a half hour after I had left her salon, and proceeds to tell me that it only took her 20 min, did I want to come back. I said, no thanks, you lost a customer. She then said something derogatory to me, and hung up. I don't know what that was about, since we had never had any issues before. In fact, we seemed to chat well, and have quite a bit in common the first time that she trimmed my hair. Anyways, it's a dumpy little salon, that looks like it was decorated from the dollar store, but it is a cheap $20 haircut. So, you get what you pay for. Not a bad cut, just a dumpy little salon, with bad customer service.
I haven't been to a shop or salon for my hair cut in years. I came to Aloha from a recommendation and was very satisfied!!! I used to only get a buzz cut, but got a fade for a change. Definitely would recommend to anyone who needs a haircut.
