AK Nail Salon & Spa in Buffalo, NY

I stopped coming to this place because I didn't want to keep hearing the nail tech Jenny talk about her sex life in front of my 12 year old. But today I needed something quick, just a simple French tip. I was the only person in there for about 20 mins. 8 people walked in at once so when the nail tech told me to wash my hands she had someone sit in my chair next to my credit card with my credit card information facing up and told me I had to wait for her to finish the lady's nails before she would apply my French tip and clear polish. 15 mins goes by and at this point I felt it was so rude for her to do that and I couldn't sit one more minute in that nail salon while Jenny who brought her kid to work, while she screamed at her for 20 mins straight. My whole experience reminded me of why I stopped going in the first place. That's not even the best part. I had to go home and finish my nails and still was charged full price and was told I could come back the next day. If that wasn't rude man idk what is smh I would not recommend this place to nobody not even my worst enemy.

We had an excellent experience for our first mommy daughters nail day. Very kind from the moment we walked in. The kids were shy and weren't very vocal about what they wanted but still walked out happy! The nail art was suggested and provided at no cost to the teenager since she wasn't very vocal about what she wanted and went with the suggestion of the tech. New experiences are tough, but we enjoyed it. We will be back for our fills and mini polish change in a few weeks... We also received a response to our questions via Facebook in a timely manner which made the experience so much easier! Thank you!

Best nail salon in buffalo, always get exactly what i ask for, fair prices, and great people

Ipdate: I didn't go into detail in my first review. However, I will add that one of my fingers is now under medical care. I wish I would have followed my gut and asked about the suspect instruments he used on my nails. If any one uses this establishment; I advise you to ask for newly sterilized instruments.

Honestly, this place does not even deserve one star. I went ten days ago for a full acrylic set. The guy who did my nails was rushing like crazy (he finished my nails in 40min, when this procedure usually takes way longer). He just did not seem to care at all for what he was doing. He actually managed to CUT MY FINGER TWICE with his scissors and did not even apologize for it, when I was literally bleeding. He chose the color for me (which I was ok with back then - just wanted a basic nude) but the shape was not great, and my nails were way too thick - not aesthetically pleasing at all. Only one week after I got my nails done, one fell off. I went to get it fixed, and the lady got mad cause I colle not tell her what color they used the first time (they chose for me, so obviously I didn't know). My point is - I have never seen people so rude. Needless to say the color doesn't match my other nails, and they did not put much effort in trying to make it look nicer. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else cause no customer deserves to be treated that way.
