Weekends, especially Saturday mornings and afternoons, are often peak times for many hair salons. Additionally, weekday evenings can be busier due to clients visiting post-work. It's always a smart move to book in advance, but if you prefer a quieter environment, you can ask Aisha's Styling Salon about their less hectic hours.
My husband and I were very pleased by Aisha's work on both of us. We found the fees and advice perfect and the cuts and color work really gave us a nice transformation (which we both needed). She was positive and knowledgeable. Very happy with how things turned out. We plan on going back.
Absolutely the worst hair stylist I have ever used. Ladies do your research before you book an appointment to have your hair colored. I heave learned my lesson. She claims to do "color correction" but she has no idea what she is doing. When I told her unhappy she got upset with me and told me I didn't know what good color looked like. Then she blamed the lightning in her salon. I asked her to do something to fix it and she brought me to the back and showed me her toners and asks ME which one she should use. I am not a hair stylist. How would I know. She decided on one and took me back to the chair put more bleach on my hair. She was being so rough and muttering under her breath that I was crazy that I didn't like the color and she has al these years experience and no one has ever complained about her. By this time I was actually very nervous I just asked her to rinse my hair do I could leave.
Take your time and look at pictures of hair that the stylist you are choosing has done. I wish I had done this in the past. There are many before and after pictures on her Facebook that would definitely have made me rethink my decision to book an appointment with her.
Absolutely terrible! Biggest hair mistake I have ever made is allowing Aisha to color and cut my hair. She is definitely not knowledgeable about coloring hair, although she advertises to do color correction...that is exactly what you will need if you let her color your hair. If you dont mind being berated for not liking orange highlights, or being told that peroxide will fade in 3 weeks, or it looks bad because her salon has bad lighting..etc...then this is the place for you. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place, I wish I would have. A $10 box of clairol would have looked so much better.
Aisha has done my hair for 12 years. And I am very satisfied after unsuccessfully trying other hair dressers who could not stack my bob haircut. Aisha does it perfectly! She is very professional and knowledgeable, besides being a very nice person.
Well, the girl who normally cuts my hair transferred to this place so now I get my haircut there. Pretty cool place with nice people. No complaints except that my haircut is now $20 instead of $12 but inflation is a bitch.
