I have been going to this salon for years AND I WILL NEVER BE GOING BACK. I booked an appointment for 2 feed in cornrows with Drea- should be easy and quick. Well, when I got there, the person working had no idea who I was and my name was not in the appointment book. Finally my Stylist comes in almost an hour late. She did apologize, but c'mon! She then proceeded to do the most horrible 2 braids I have ever had. They were uneven, she didnt use enough hair at the ends and didnt do any edges. I had an event to go to (which was the reason I was getting the quick style) so I just paid and left. The very next morning, the entire thing was coming out at the ends and my hair was sticking out the sides. It looks like I had them for weeks. I tried to fix it because I had another event the next day - but was only able to keep them a total 3 days! Then when I tried to call back and speak to the owner - she was NEVER there and none of the employees know how to reach you and are unable to take a message. I left a voice mail message and have NEVER heard back. There are too many other Braiding salons in the DMV. DO NOT GO TO THIS ONE!!!!
this place sucks, received multiple bald patches after getting my hair braided by then. braids were entirely too tight. never again.
I'm give them a 4 star because the braids were done very and not too tight. Also the prices are reasonable. However, I did have to wait a long time I don't know if it me not having an appointment had anything to do with that.
They do a great job with my daughter's hair. Sometimes, even with an appointment, you have to wait a while for a chair. It's worth it, though. The prices are reasonable as well.
I just had my hair braided into a Fulani style and I'm in love!!! So glad I took a chance with this shop. I'll definitely be returning. The prices are good and everyone was friendly.
