Mary is wonderful! If you need any waxing done she is the best! May not be looking forward to the "process " but with her amazing personality and great conversations she makes the whole thing fee like a piece a cake! Seriously, look no further! GO see Mary!

Jessica Wright had done my hair.. I went home and everyone said.. hey, I thought you were getting your hair done?.. I replied, I did.. I know it don't look much different hu? So I called the salon and at first she gave me an attitude about it, she offered to do it again and I said no because I live almost an hour away and I'm sorry but you didn't get it right the first time then I'm sorry my time and gas/thruway fees means something too! After arguing with her and telling her I'd be more than happy to share my experience on a review she agreed to give me my money back. $120 for supposedly a full head of foils but I was rooty as ever and not much blonder at all, they were baby lights that barely looked blonde?! So she refunded the money on the card and everything was fine, she even apologized to me. So.., you're probably wondering why the review then... here goes! Later on I noticed cnyfacecandy's page and loved her work (another mistake) and I messaged her and since April I been told I been on a waiting/cancellation list!.. here it is September and I messaged her and she's not accepting new clients, after months of waiting and not doing anything to my hair I felt a little irritated yet again let down by another hair stylist.. SO.. come to find out Jessica and Tabetha are buddies! Jessica told Tabetha owner of cnyfacecandy that I complain about my hair to get it done for free!!!! After being bashed all over cnyfacecandy Jessica goes on there and tries destroying my character and makes me look like a hair thief!!! Her ego is that disgustingly big that if YOU are not happy with something you yet want it for free because lord knows Jessica is perfect!!! She double booked that day of my appointment in which I believe should be illegal! They work for us at the time of our appointment! They should be giving to us! I think that's just treating your customers like cattle, the day at the salon is supposed to be relaxing and all about you!.. not you and that other woman she's bouncing from! It's rude! So I gave that woman every chance in the world beware and for Christ sake you better love your hair or you're just trying to scam her! Get over yourself Jessica!

I moved to Syracuse from Chicago just over a year ago. I had been to several salons looking for the right fit. I would find someone who could color my hair but botch my haircut. Or, I would find someone who would cut my hair right but botch up the haircolor. A friend of mine recommended Jessica at Adagio. I wish I would have found her sooner. She is amazing! The cut and the haircolor is always on point. She listens to you and also makes recommendations as to what is best for your hair. I even saw Trisha one day when Jessica was on vacation. Trisha did a fantastic job as well. No need to go anywhere else this is your place!

I have been going to Jessica for years. Here's her Instagram if you want to see her work Hairstylesby_jessicaadagio I hate going downtown. Hate it. I can't stand parking and paying the meter. With all that said. It's so worth it. It's actually not that bad either. I can find parking out front pretty easily. I don't have to pay the meter anymore or have the front desk put quarters in because I now use the whoosh app and can do it all from my phone. Took me 30 seconds to down load and put my info in. Everyone is friendly here. The place is so clean. Jessica's prices are affordable. She just put extensions in my hair and I LOVE them. She does a keratin on my sister and it looks flawless I recommend her to everyone I meet. What I love about her is if I show her a cut I'd like she's honest and will tell me if my hair texture (which is curly) would work w that cut or not. Or my hair is fragile so she takes extra care with it. I go away feeling pampered and I feel happy when I leave there. I have never been disappointed once with a cut or a color. If you aren't happy with how your hair is go see her. She's excellent. And don't be intimidated by down town. It's really not that bad. It's near st Joseph's hospital. Easy to get to. And after getting pampered walk down the street and get a bite at Astis
