The cut itself was fine - it just was not remotely close to what I asked for. I asked for a bob, something I've had in the past, showed a photo, and got layers. At some point I asked if she was going to put the angular shape in and she said I gave you all these layers. I'm not into risking my hair with a bitter stylist so I didn't bother to push back further or complain, tipped and left but won't be going back. All the other reviews for here are really great so I was disappointed.
My daughter and I just went to A2Z for the 1st time. Mary did a fabulous job on highlights for my daughter, and gave us both great haircuts. Mary is very nice, knows what she is doing, and she is careful to cut off only as much as you want. Highly recommend. I also appreciated her wearing a surgical mask.
I highly recommend anyone to waxing with Vimean. She is so gentle and will become a friend. I'm sad I can't take her with me on my move. The space for waxing is clean and serene like you are at a spa. The price is very reasonable. Enjoy and tell her SJ sent ya!
By far this is the best place for waxing! I have gone to many different salons for waxing in DC, MD, and VA over the past decade, but since I found Vimean in 2019 at A2Z Studio I will never go anywhere else. She is extremely professional, friendly, and skilled at making the experience the most comfortable. Her studio is immaculate. She is the only esthetician using the space, so she is able to keep it perfectly clean and organized exactly the way she needs it. She makes you feel very comfortable and chats throughout the treatment which is nicely distracting, especially during a brazilian! She's very efficient and thorough. Somehow she is able to be quick without missing a hair. Over the past 2 years since I started going to Vimean, I've had eyebrows, lip, chin, full face, arms, hands, legs, and brazilian done. Her method is the least painful I have ever experienced. I've also started getting my hair done at A2Z since meeting Vimean. I have long hair and don't go often, but every time I go I am very pleased! I cannot recommend this salon high enough.
My fiancé went there for the first time and they did an excellent job. She was extremely happy and looked more beautiful than ever.
