THE OWNER KIM DID MY HAIR AND MY HAIR CAME OUT!! Let me start by saying I'd been coming to her salon for about a year or so and she would usually do a good job. My hair was natural but I wanted her to do a texturizer and a trim and she did. After I left the salon I went home and quickly wrapped my hair. A few days later I noticed my hair all around my head had broken off. I started parting and looking and found even more damage. I then called Kim and she acted as if it wasn't important. She should have done a strand test first to make sure my hair was compatible with the texturizer BUT SHE DIDN'T. I could have done it better myself. She called me back to say she had a client in her chair and couldn't talk. She does have an office about 5 steps from her booth and could have taken the call in there. I'm so tired of stylists calling themselves master stylist and don't do the basics things like doing a strand test, keeping a clean shop, updating equipment and customer service ie starting the appointment on time. I wrote this to warn newcomers that if you go to this salon and you have hair you might leave with No HAIR. The sad thing is that she saw the breakage and didn't tell me before I left her salon.
Well.... I don't know how to begin. The salon is very nice and the owner very friendly... Dominique did my hair ( unfortunately not perfect but "ok") - she was kind of unprofessional with her behavior and also with her work (how I discovered) when I got home I discovered that hair already comes out of the braids( see pictures) I think she hasn't done it tight enough and I have the feeling it will only last for a few days (unfortunately) Not sure if I will return or try another salon After a few days it just looks horrible- I will definitely not return
Went back to Kim for another cut into a new style. Fabulous cut by Kim!! Tons of compliments!! Love it!!
I have been going to Kim for over a year now and she is wonderful. When I decided to switch to a new stylist, I was looking in the Marietta/Kennesaw area, for someone who not only could do my hair but take care of it and keep it healthy. I am sooooo glad that I came to her, she really listened to me about my concerns and has exceeded all my expectations so far. Definitely give her a try !
