A 7th Heaven Nails in Sparks, NV

I had nails done by Ashley. This girl is as sweet as they come but she is new at doing nails and in my opinion, should not be charging what she is for a full set. Those are prices for someone with some experience under their belt.
She will be an amazing nail tech with some time & practice.
Concerns I have are nails were super thick, acrylic missing in places - visibly seen, nails were too wide / edges weren't filed. She glued a nail on that was very close to width of my own nail but it still needs to be hit with a file.
The nail design wasn't very attractive & sadly (and NOT within my budget), I paid another nail tech at a different salon the very next day to have them redone.

Arrived for appointment on time.  No reception upon arrival.  Waited 10 minutes for her, then texted.  Phone at her station beeps, so  I figure she's got to be here.  Had to go in the back to find her.  She looked surprised to see me and unhappy that I had interrupted her and her co-workers conversation in the break room.  
 "I have an 11:30, yes?", I asked?
 "I didn't know you were here."
 "I've been here for 10 minutes", I replied.
 She took me to her station, her co-worker in tow, sat me down for basic instructions. Which I gave. For the length of the seven minute haircut, her and said co-worker carried on in Spanish like I wasn't even there. She actually turned her chair away from the mirror, so she could continue talking to her friend who was now sitting at the reception desk.
  I've never felt so left out, and uncomfortable. At the end she turned me to mirror for acknowledgement of satisfaction.
 "How's the back?", I asked because it didn't feel right.
 "It's good", she replied.
  Most barbers, and stylists, I've been to break out the handheld mirror for a double reflection of the back of your head for customer approval confirmation. Nope.
 Got home and discovered why no mirror for me!
 She did say, "God bless", on my way out.
 So, I went next-door to the well advertised Day Drinking and Burlesque theatre to relax.
 The two right next to each other is like a moral magnet with opposing moral polarities.
 Gotta love Reno.
 Though, I do feel sad for the owner.  For the owner of the Hair Salon , not the burlesque and day drinking theatre.

This Salon is awesome. Julie does my hair every week and she does the cleanest fades and scissor cuts. All the ladies there are great and the atmosphere is nice and comfortable. Solid place.

I was an employee for 3 weeks. I was actually a booth renter. Gail, the owner, lied about the foot traffic. Not a busy salon at all. Hardly any walk-ins. Her ad was extremely misleading. She expected you to work for nothing. In short, when I told her I was taking a day off to make some money DOORDASHING. She let me go. She threw thousands of dollars of my products and equipment in boxes like they were trash. (Check photos posted) She's a very nasty person to work for. PJ, her manager, assaulted me when I was leaving. The team is awesome. Management is unprofessional. DO NOT SEEK EMPLOYMENT HERE!!!!

I stopped in here to have my hair, which had uneven layers from letting my roommate give me a trim, even them out  I certainly did not want more length off. Rose ruined my hair. I have had thick, beautiful hair all my life. Now it is 500 layers, and I can't grab a handful of hair it is so short. The front is not even and she cut up it up past my ears.  Again I asked her to not cut length.  I'll be wearing a hat for 6 months while this mess grows out. I called the owner Gail!  Very rude, yelling at me over the phone. I'm going to cont BBB.  I WANT MY MONEY BACK IT IS SO HORRIFIC. I thought my roommate was bad. Much better than a licensed cosmetologist.
