You guys.. Jessie is the REAL DEAL! She is so caring, kind and truly cares about what you want and whats best for your hair!! I have fine and thin hair and have never colored my hair before... I started with some subtle simple balayage highlights and asked her 1 million questions about if extensions are right for me..needless to say.. next time I go see Jessie i'll be getting more color and extensions! I left feeling more confident than i've felt in a while!
Jessie is incredible! I've lived in middle TN for 27 years & this is the first time I've ever been to a hairstylist who makes me feel like I'm leaving with a better style than I even imagined! This is review is a LOOOOONNNGGGG time coming! Like, before she left me in tears here in SoCal and moved to Nashville. Nashville, you totally scored as I sit here with my achy, breaky heart because Jessie is gone.
Jessie is like some kind of hair wizard. Back in the day when Jessie was still in SoCal, I was looking for someone who could do my hair AND do my makeup for some family photos. I also needed them to come to my house. Back then, mobile beauty wasn't really a thing so I did what any desperate mom would do - I turned to a mommy group and asked all these women who they would recommend.
Jessie's name was brought up so much and she was tagged so often in my post, I started to wonder :
1. Are her ears ringing because so many people are talking about and gushing about her work?
2. Gattdamn. I should do mobile beauty. But I don't because I don't know how to curl my hair or my lashes. That's why I'm looking to a mommy group for help. LOL
I'm really scared of trying new hair stylists because I've had new people completely butcher my hair (one person literally chopped off 2 feet of my hair before I realized what happened. The same person decided I needed an "edgier" look and proceeded to cut my bangs into what I would describe as a premature ventricular contraction tracing on an EKG). I didn't know what to expect from Jessie but I figured a couple hundred moms can't be all wrong.
And they were right. Jessie immediately put me at ease and took such great care of my hair. She explained what she was doing and gave me great tips on how I could make my style last even when I didn't have time to dry my hair. She showed me various ways to wear my cut and basically gave me a crash course on what Olaplex is, why it's an important step in coloring hair and how it works.
If you're also looking to book Jessie for makeup, lemme just say that her work photographs very, Very, VERY well. Jessie knows her way not just around the makeup bag but she knows how to give you a look that will shine through in photos in accordance to the kind of look you're going for.

Jessie is AMAZING. I searched on yelp when I was looking for someone to do my hair extensions and saw her rave reviews. She definitely lived up to all of the 5 stars!! I have never had permanent extensions before and was nervous about the whole process, but Jessie made the process so great and easy!
She gave me tape in extensions and a blonde balayage in no time! She worked so quickly and her prices are great (especially for the quality). She has been available since I got the extensions answering any questions I may have for how to care for them or style them. I have already sent a friend over to her to get color and extensions as well and will keep recommending her!!
