This place really sucks. There are barely any barbers. I was here for an hour while my dad was getting a haircut. There was a lady cutting my dad's hair but had the other barber help her because she didn't know what she was doing. How many barbers does it take to cut a man's hair?

Best spot in the AV, two favorite Barbers are Nick and the owner. Great atmosphere and they are always keeping conversations going. Compared to places I've been in Long Beach to get cut this barbershop is A++ and they charge half the price as most valley or central LA barbershops do.
Never coming here again, came here with a friend who goes there regularly, he was given a cut in a timely manner, one barber asked me who I wanted to cut my hair and I replied it didn't matter, he then tells me he's going outside for a smoke and he would give me a cut after, after he comes back tells me that the barber who was giving my friend a cut was gonna cut me after and then takes another customer who came in 20 minutes AFTER me. So after my friend is done getting his haircut 3 guys came in who apprently are friends with the Hispanic barber working, he then tells them he's going to give all three of them a cut next, skipping me after ive been sitting there for more than an hour so that makes 4 people who were put above me to get their haircut since they were regulars at this shop. A customer spoke out asking why the barber was skipping people to which he replied "I wouldn't skip people who were here first before other customers came in". To which I replied saying he skipped me, no response, no apology nothing. Terrible customer service. Decided To go to The Chop Shoppe instead. Much better atmosphere, way better customer service and complimentary beers/sodas !
Elliott is an awesome barber!! Definitely plan on taking my son to him regularly. The first time I took my boy, he asked for a Batman haircut and he hooked it up!!!!
