4EVER Nails & Spa in Binghamton, NY

If you are a stranger and come in to this place, they will make you feel like a loved regular customer without being nosey about your life in an attempt to be "friendly." That's a hard balance to strike at a nail salon. That is why I came here with my sister after a family tragedy over the weekend... we needed to get our nails done before we received people for the funeral. ALSO because it is clean and they do a wonderful job. The owner Ben took care of us every way possible. As an active member of the community, he had already heard about the accident and treated us with extra gentleness and sympathy. It was nice to have one part of our day that did not feel hard. $145 later my daughter and I had pedicures and I had a full set! Eek! Never again! The pedicures were good, cute little snowflakes on one toe each. The full set has 2 crooked nails and uneven thickness. Messy paint and stickers instead of any freestyle painting because she attempted a snowflake 5 times to no avail. My daughter paid for her own set and they are different lengths. I don't normally go to this salon and decided to try it out. Cost does not equal the talent at all sadly. I'll give them 3 for politeness and cleanliness. Please hone your skills. I can paint better and put stickers on myself.

I have been here maybe 6 times Never had a bad experience Never seen anyone have a bad experience and yes very busy many people waiting that should say people like this salon staff are very nice and they do have alot of frequent customers cause I hear them say their name alot like a friend would ...can't wait for them to be like that with me ...only thing I would say to change is Expand it's kind of too small

I don't like to write negative reviews, but both times I came here I didn't leave with nails I was happy with. I tend to get my nails done during a large break between my classes because it is the only time I have, and they did a pretty good job getting me in and out on time. However I just felt the quality of my (dip powder) nails never was up to par. The cuticle area was sloppy and already looked grown out, as well as the fact that the second time I came in, the nail tech didn't even ask me what shape I wanted..... so I guess I got square that day. Not a bad place, just feels like if I want to pay $50 on my nails I'm going to go somewhere that actually does what I want.

I have been going here for 3 years, but this year, it got worse. Always a long wait, and even if you have an appointment, you will still have to wait. Don't even bother making an appointment unless it is early afternoon when they aren't as busy. I've had my gel powder nails (with tips) for less than 5 days and two have already broken when doing normal activities. They use a shitty product that breaks very easily when I usually don't have any problems, so I'll be looking for a new salon to go to where they use product that will last more than a few days. The list goes on. I've had good experiences here, but plenty of bad ones to the point where it's not worth spending money here anymore. Side note: They do not want to accept debit cards, and will do everything they can not to have you use one. I've seen them lie to people's faces saying that they don't accept them so that someone might use cash. Go somewhere else!!!!
