3D Nails Spa in Middlebury, CT

I visited this salon bc I recently moved to the area. I got a dipped powder manicure and at first I loved it. 2 days later, 2 of my nails cracked. No biggie, I went back they fixed them free of charge. It's been 4 days and another 2 nails are cracked. My assumption is they are using poor quality dip powder. My nail tech was awesome, no complaints to her and the aesthetics is welcoming of the facility. Just wish the price adds up to the quality of product I received. Very disappointing

The woman doing my nails answered her cell phone and proceeded to talk on it for quite some time. I ended up leaving her a 10% tip because of her rudeness. The next day when I checked my bank account, I noticed an additional unauthorized charge on my card. Come to find out they added a $20 tip instead. I called the owner at her Waterbury salon, and she was very apologetic and reimbursed me the money. However, I  believe this was done intentionally. My advice is to keep your receipt and check your account if you use a card here!

Horrible experience. Called at 1 for a 4:30 appointment and I came on time.. and only started me at 5:30. Kate or Katie i'm not sure her name but she did a horrific job on my nails. None of them are the same shape and when i continuously asked her to fix them she rolled her eyes and did not do what i asked. I asked another woman to fix them and she made them more uneven. Overall, the quality of the work they do here is NO where near worth the price. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

I recently just got a pedicure here with my boyfriend, we both got the same service, a spa pedicure. They did his pedicure first with me sitting next to him... I had made the appointment ahead of time thinking we could get them done together not one at a time. Whatever. Fine I was able to sit next to him and chat. The spa pedicure says it's supposed to be 40 minutes. Both of ours were done in 50 minutes. Also, with my pedicure the nail tech put lotion on my leg and wrapped it... my boyfriend did not. Again we got the SAME service and we're charged a total of $75 for the same spa pedicure package!!! Which again, my boyfriend was gypped on. Another thing is the nail tech was so busy talking, she only painted nine of my toes, which I didn't notice until a few days later cause who thinks to check that all toes got painted! A mistake on my part for not double checking I guess. Anyway,I will not be returning!!! If I could give 0 stars, I would.

My wife and step daughter walked in hoping to get mani-pedi done as walk-in with the understanding they were busy and may have to make an appt. Three different staff asked if the could help her which was a good start each time. HOWEVER, the first staff member just turned and walked away when my wife asked if they had time or did they have to make an appt. The second lady asked and then looked at another staff who looked up, and then without answering looked back down and continued to do the nails she was working on. A third lady asked if she could help and when my wife for the third time asked if there was time for walk ins or if she had to make an appt she gave my wife an eye roll, and no answer. The owner of this company needs new, better employees with better attitudes. If one of these individuals was the owner, you should be ashamed and out of business. I wish this site offered negative ratings.
