My stylist was really nice & did a good job. The price for me leaving with wet hair was too much for my blood. Plus I drove over 40 minutes there & back cause I had a coupon that they did not honor. No expiration date & I've been holding onto it for over a year... I felt really un- taken care of... like if I were someone they respected more( like my mum) they would have honored the coupon. I usually feel less pretty than the pretty woman movie... I don't have money to throw away & it was the salon's fault but I still had to tip the girl for doing a good job. Could have done it in town for half the price though. Live & learn. Feel very taken advantage of... per usual
I had my haircut done in this salon a month ago. I had the stylist cut my bangs to just below my eyebrows after she said I could come back for just a bang trim when I needed it. I decided today, while in Shelton, to do just that. I did a walk-in appointment and someone was able to cut my bangs within 20 minutes. Nice. The stylist didn't really listen very well to what I wanted, which was full bangs right to the middle of my eyebrows. I ended up with fringed bangs, very noticeably above my eyebrows. I let that go cause the stylist was so sweet and my hair grows fast, no big deal. The reason I am doing a review at all and only making it one star is because the manager/owner charged me 18.00 for the less than five minute bang trim!!! She explained that free trims were for clients that were in between appointments and since I didn't have a future appointment set up she'd have to charge me. okay, I get that .... but 18.00???? Never going back. What a rip-off.
Really bad experience with haircut and highlights. Don't waste your money here. Find somewhere the stylists care about what they are doing.
