2Cute Nail Spa in Clarksville, TN

BEWARE, my daughter went in to have her dip nails removed and another set applied, which she has done in the past at another salon.  Today, the manager, Paul, did an awful job.   First, he didn't soak her nails off because he was in a rush he decided to pull them off until she stopped him because of the pain.   Then he cut her cuticle with the drill, and he was aware of it.  As he was working, he had his air pod in while watching a movie on his phone.  While he continued to drill around her cuticles, it began to burn, so she stopped him again.  Also, the dip and the clean-up were so sloppy, and he could care less until she asked him his name. Then it was too late.  Please look closely at the photos.  I do not recommend this place.

ALL of these bad reviews are more than likely under exaggerated. I do not see this business succeeding at all as long as the lady running the place is there. I watched her helicopter and take over everyone's sessions and portrayed extremely poor leadership skills. My mom and I sat down for our pedicures and a man was doing my moms and and a very personable lady did mine. I showed her my reference photo she loved it we picked the two colors and started the process. Halfway through the owner takes over my moms pedicure and starts telling me my two polishes won't work together because it "wouldn't show up". Very hostile. I said back with the same energy "well we're gonna find out". Unfortunately she was the one that did my manicure. I wanted dip nails with tips but every nails was a different but similar color of pink. As I'm picking my colors she's doing my nails, switching my hands, as I'm picking 5 different shades of pink. "Do you have your colors picked out yet" "not quite" continues doing my nails. At this point I don't even know if I have dip or acrylic on. Pretty sure acrylic. I pick my colors by the time she's ready to paint, she can't find one of them and gets a replacement. I don't like the way it looks. I say "I don't like that" she throws everything she had in her hands down on the table and says "YOURE TOO COMPLICATED" I was like "well maybe if you didn't rush me while picking my colors It wouldn't look like sh!t" she said "I NEVER RUSHED YOU YOURE TOO COMPLICATED" I said "you've been a bi!tch since I sat down" she said "what did you call me?" "I said YOURE A F!ck!ng B!TCH" she starts going off about don't curse in my store blah blah you need to respect me  I said respect is earned. She said something ab her being my elder i said yeah I can tell B!tch. At this point she starts rampaging screaming at the top of her lungs on some psycho sh!t talking about I'm gonna call the cops I said "OH IS IT ILLIGAL TO CALL YOU A C!NT ASS F!CKING B!TCH". She really didn't like that but anyways all with my dear mother. Crazy. also the workers are miserable and I'm sure you see why.

I did go in expecting nail tech quality designs because of thier instagram page photos, . I went in asked if the design was something they could do. I was told yes. Once I sat down and started I corrected what I didn't lik and she was frustrated with me. And ended up saying that she couldn't do it. Which is fine but I wish she started off saying that it was too difficult and I would have picked a simpler design that was more reasonable. I got a full set with gel it ended up being 60 without tip. It also cost $10 extra for the very straight tips or crystal clear tips. Which I thought was kinda crazy. I have never been charged extra for the type of tip I got.

Worst experience ever. The first time there I had to wait for the technician to begin my pedicure as she was eating lunch. I had an appointment, I was not a walk in. I waiting graciously as I had the time. Shortly after we started another customer walked in, clearly someone she knew, and the technician started to rush through my pedicure. I was then passed on to another technician to paint my toenails and then to do my finger nails. I was not thrilled with either the pedicure, which left the soles of my feet/heels cracked and rough, nor my fingernails as they were way too thick.

Three weeks later I went back since it was near my home thinking perhaps my experience was a one off. As I signed in the owner asked what I needed done. I said I would like a fill on my dip nails. She proceeded to say that you can't fill dip nails. She said they could not match the color. I said, "I got the nails done here, so you do have the color." She got indignant with me and said we don't fill dip. (I had fills done on dip previously, and I also went online to make sure that I was not confused, and fill can be done on both dip and gel.) I caved and said, okay, but I would like the technician to take more time on the pedicure as last time my pedicure was rushed. Now, the owner became rude and loud, saying, "No one here rushes." At this point I said, "I think I am going to cancel my appointment." As I turned to leave, she shouted, "Never come back."  Don't worry I never plan on returning.

I left and drove several blocks closer to home, found another salon with a very nice technician and was very happy with both my pedicure and nails.

The spa is very pretty inside and very clean. But I have to say the pedicure was painful. First I wanted gel taken off my toes and painted with regular polish and a design. I told the young man when the gel was taken off with the drill in the past I had damage to the nails from the intense drilling. I had only gotten gel 2 times after that and it was at salons that took the time to do the acetone wraps. Unfortunately he didn't understand or didn't care and he still used the dremmel. At one point I pulled my foot back because it was burning my mail so badly it hurt. He just pulled my foot back down as I squirmed in the seat making terrible faces. Then came the cuticle clipping- oh my gosh that was even worse! He cut so low into my cuticles they were bleeding and of course the next thing he does is wipes them with alcohol. I have a cut right beneath my right big toe from those stupid trimmers! While this is going on, one of the employees is walking around the place with an elongated duster swatting at all the flies buzzing. The guy working on me commented that he was going to stop and buy some fly strips because they were so bad in the place. Yuck!
Then came the massage which is what I explained when choosing a package was the second most important thing to me. I went with their suggestion. My feet were swollen from an airplane trip and I needed a good massage to push the fluid out of the feet. Nope he squires some lotion on and let it sit in big globs on my shins, left, came back and then gave me some up and down strokes on the legs and rubbed under the feet. Nothing like I have had at other salons. When he started painting my toes he then proceeds to tell me that he will only do the design (flower) on a gel polish - they won't paint the white flower on top of regular polish. That was a first for me! Guess they didn't want to take the time to let the nails dry first. I just skipped the design. When it came time to pay I was under the drying fan so the lady took my debit card. Never mentioned before taking it that they only accept 20% tips on services and they charge a $1.75 service fee for running a debit card.
$61.75 before tip for this mess and not even gel!
Please be careful going to this salon. They don't listen to what you want and although the guy working on me was nice he was quite inexperienced and unaware of how bad a job he was doing. They also don't tell you about upcharges and tips.
At least I know I won't take another chance nor will the people that I've told.
