Salon Envi in Clarksville, TN

I absolutely love this salon! It has a great atmosphere and wonderful people who work there. My hair stylist is named Cristin and she has never failed me. She listens carefully to what I want done to my hair and gives me helpful feedback on what will look nice on me. It is difficult now a days to find someone who is good at both color and cut, but Cristin is great at both. I have awkward curly hair and she some how manages to cut it right every time. I recommend this salon!

I went back to see Whitney yesterday so she could do my color.  When my husband came home, he AGAIN exclaimed, "You look 10 years younger!  People are going to think your my daughter!"  Now, I know that was an exaggeration, but I liked it anyway!  I'm nearly 51, and my hair hasn't looked this healthy since I was in my 30s.

I don't know what all she did, but my hair is soft, shiny, and the color is perfect.  My new cut is easy to manage and really flattering.  Whitney is very knowledgeable about every aspect of her profession.  She gave me great advise, and executed the look I wanted to perfection.

Everyone here is always super friendly. I generally go to Cristin but everyone else seems to do a great job. I've sent several of my friends here.  They work well with you and can be creative if you're not sure what to do with your hair. I haven't had my nails or anything done here but I've heard excellent things from my friends who have.

I still stand by original post in terms of Whitney. She does an awesome custom color job, but is ok at cuts. I wanted to come back and give them another try. Sorry, that I did.

I was desperate need of a root touch up, maybe an all over (stylist would decide), and a trim. Kristen texted me and told me she could pen me in at 9am, and allow plenty of time for a possible allover color if need be. Great, I thought!

I live all the way in Hopkinsville, so I made the 30 minute drive to downtown Clarksville. I patiently waited as they opened up shop and sat in the waiting room. The few girls were talking and setting up their stations. It was about 5 minutes past 9 am and I had not been asked who I was waiting on. I didn't know the other girls names so I got up and asked which one was Kristen. Neither of them. Maybe she's running late, I can understand that. They both looked at me rather puzzled then said they could call her. Good idea. It turns out Kristen had me down for 2pm??!! No, I specifically agreed to 9am.

So Kristen called me on my cell and explained that she mismanaged her schedule book. Then asked if I could come in at 2 or tomorrow. No, I have other events and I just wasted gas all the way over here. I was waiting for her to tell me she'd be in a bit, after all I wanted was a root touchup and a trim!! Or even schedule me a different day but discount the service! Nope. What a poor way to build cliental.

It's not like some idiot receptionist messed up the books, that I can understand. This was of her own error and she offered no damage control on the situation. Maybe I should have kicked up a stink.

I left extremely pissed and without my hair being done. Not a pleasant experience at "top rated" Salon Envi.

I have gone here twice now to Erin.  I had wanted to try the new shellac manicure after reading about it online.  The hype was that it would last for 2-3 weeks without chipping.  As someone who is super hard on their nails, this intrigued me.  

After going to my old friend Google, I found that Erin had been trained in how to apply it.  I have to say that she does an awesome job.  She is super friendly and is great to talk with.  I love that she asks how I want things and that she is so meticulous with her work.

I have been getting gel nails applied off and on for 6-7 years and this is so much easier.  The polish is applied in layers and is sealed on with UV light.  You can go into your purse immediately afterwards and it is set on for good.  Honestly with french tips- you couldn't really see any grow out or mistakes for at least a week and a half (I did have one small chip on one finger).  In all, it was well worth the $30.  I paid that and more to get gel put on and it would be chipped and worn down within days (if not hours).  

The salon is super cute and the people are really friendly.  One big thing is that they don't accept credit cards.  Bring cash or your checkbook with you.  You should call and give Erin a try!  You won't regret it!
