I haven't had my hair cut by anyone but me in years. I'm extremely specific with what I want and I have thin hair. The barber listened and then put into reality the hopes I had. Very well done. Not cheap, but worth it.

Made an appointment to have my beard trimmed and cleaned around the edges. Which I told the girl on the phone. When I showed up, they passed me onto someone who is not licensed to use a straight razor. WHO would ever have their beard cleaned up and not expect a straight razor? The girl who answered the phone looked like she's been in the business, so she should have known better. The actual "Barber" apologized and said he could see me in two weeks and that I had to wear a mask since I'm not vaccinated? A mask and I'm getting my beard done? How's that going to work. I seldom leave bad reviews, but this place is at best a overpriced SuperCuts. Anyone with a half decent beard stay clear from this place. Go to 10th Ward in LV.

I grew my hair out over COVID, and needed a refreshed look before going back into the office. I couldn't be happier with my professional new cut. Thanks to Leo and team.

Please read this review before going to 18/8 men's salon. The pics are before (done by Leo at 18/8 and after fixed by Crystal at JCP Instyle) For months my son wanted silver or blonde highlights and a new cut. I finally agreed we made my 12 year old a color and cut appointment, 4 year old a cut appointment, and my husband a cut appointment online at 18/8. We arrived and were greeted by an unfriendly woman running the register. She told us that "something" happened and they could only do the color and cut and one more cut. So someone's appointment needed to be cancelled. Fine! No problem, things happen!! My 12 year old was up in the chair! His barber/stylist was a rude man named Leo. Leo should not have a barber or stylist license!!! He told me that what my son wanted (silver or platinum highlight tips) just wasn't going to be possible. He said the only thing he could do was put some light blonde highlights in. My son and I discussed it and he was ok with starting small, even though that made ZERO sense to me. I've had every color hair imaginable I know going super light is a process I am welllll aware and was willing to pay ANY AMOUNT and come back multiple times if need be but I told Leo to put in THIN layered highlights make it very simple and make it as light as possible. He agreed and then told us he could get it VERY VERY similar to the platinum silver we showed him. So first, he did the cut ( which is wrong a cut is always last) and we should have stopped there!! He had no clue how to blend a simple fade!!!! None! He left huge patches uncut it was not blended at the fade mark and looked terrible. He told me the fade wasn't possible because my son wanted the top of his har longer... THAT'S RIDICULOUS!! He then put 5 foils in my son's hair. He placed them in like slop.. In weird random chunks through the hair. Left on for 14 minutes (long enough to turn it orange) and washed it out!! My kid was in tears and Leo knew he did a terrible job but him and the cashier DESPERATELY wanted to leave work and we were the last customers ( found that out later). Leo told me that this was the best anyone could do with my sons wavy hair. It was pitiful. My husband reluctantly stood up for his turn but elbowed me and nudged me to the door because he KNEW he didnt want a cut by Leo!! Buttttt before he could even say that he didn't need a cut Leo says "oh, we dont know what happened but your appointment was knocked off the calendar sir" I said so you are also cancelling our 3rd appointment after already cancelling the smaller childs? He said "yes our online booking system is really messed up and it got all the appointments wrong, so I have another appointment coming in right now and I cant do his." We paid the $70 dollars for cut and 5 foils and left. My husband let Leo know this was CRIMINAL, and let him know messing up a child's hair that badly then still requesting payment and not offering to fix it was appalling. I sat in the parking lot consoling my 12 year old and letting him know we would get his hair fixed, when all of a sudden out walks Leo and the rude cashier. They were leaving!!!! They had no other appointments they lied about that too!!!! They are so unprofessional and they did not care one bit about the quality of work performed!! Do not see Leo at 18/8, my advice Do not go to 18/8 AT ALL. They have great reviews but I am willing to bet they are fake reviews!!! This place is a sham! Leo should not have a job especially when he devasted a child and had NO CONCERN for his mistake. I know the process was tedious I know it was work but I would not trust Leo or 18/8 to shave you bald!!!! If it was too hard for him he should have said that, if he can't do a simple fade with length on top he shouldn't have a license, if 18/8 can't hire stylists that have an education and the ability to do a simple highlight they SHOULD NOT BE OFFERING THE SERVICE!!! For just 10 dollars more Crystal at Instyle repair Leo's mistake and gave my son exactly what he asked for. She was professional and kind and wonderful!!!! Leo, you should be ashamed of the service you provided, ashamed of your work ethic, and ashamed of what you did to a child!
