Zuri Salon in Bozeman, MT

I've been going to Zuri for the last 4 years & have always been very happy with my hair. Last time I saw Kate Walker. I was upset with how one side of my hair turned out, and she was so rude. Turned me away from the mirror, & snapped, "Just let me finish your hair", & started to layer the other side. When she was done, I was trying to explain what I didn't like, she was trying to explain why it had to be that way, I tried to tell her I'd been getting the same haircut at the same location for years, she said "I know, I cut your hair the last time". I tried to talk to her about a remedy/solution, she said "I'm not cutting any more off your hair because you won't be happy with anything", whipped off the gown, said have a good day & walked off.
I've had plenty of bad hair experiences in my life, but I've never experienced a stylist who won't talk about the issue, and won't at least attempt to suggest a fix. She didn't charge me, just looked up from her super engaging phone screen from the other side of the room, waved me out of the salon saying "you're good", and returned her gaze back to her phone.
I thought I'd found my hair salon, & now I don't feel like I can go back.

My hair cut and highlights by Lauren was fantastic. The cut was great but the highlight blonde was amazing. She used a toner that made the highlights pop. Will be going back to her for sure!!

The salon may look nice but some of the staff aren't as competent as they should be.
I went here for highlights and they majorly screwed it up, missing sections entirely.
Then I went back stupidly and got some extensions, they put only 2 packs in even though I needed at least 4 and continuously bailed on me so I looked like I had a mullet for a month!
The overall environment was very unprofessional as my stylist texted me to book appointments and would frequently leave me on read or just wouldn't text me back at all.  
WOULD NOT RECOMMEND.

This review is for Danielle. I am very particular about my hair and very careful about who I go to. I have been cutting my hair myself because I have had so many bad experiences with stylists cutting off too much. I went in for a cut; it was simple but perfect, boho mermaid long layers and long sideswept bangs; she knows what she is doing with technique, very well trained. I wish I lived in the state because I would only go to her! Highly recommend.

I have been to a lot of salons in Bozeman over the years and I really enjoyed my experience at Zuri. The new location is a wonderful space and pulls you away from the hustle of Main Street. Plus, the chairs you sit in while having your hair washed are super comfortable and the sink doesn't hurt your neck! Definitely recommend!
