Zoom Tan - Tanning Salon in Lockport, NY

I used to frequent zoom tan years ago. I always loved the convenience, short relaxation, and it was good for my skin. I went to sign up again, thinking it would be a simple process, like before, and I'd be ready for the summer season and a vacation I'll be taking soon. Well, it turns out it would be the opposite of simple. I had to call "customer service" due to an "account issue". The last time I went to zoom tan was 4 years ago. (I've moved a lot and some places didn't have them, nor in the south did I feel a reason to go). Well, "customer service" tells me that "because I filed a dispute with my credit card company for a refund my account is locked". 4 years ago I canceled my membership on site. The lady working was very kind and said she would have it canceled (when I signed up I explained I could be moving, I never held contracts because my job keeps me moving around. The lady understood and said I could cancel if needed). Well, unfortunately, it did not cancel. So I disputed it on my credit card, since I was being charged for a service I no longer needed nor requested. Today, "customer service" told me that all they could do is have me pay the 22 dollars, plus the 22 refunded (doesn't make sense), then pay in check for an entire year membership since they "couldn't trust the holder of the account anymore". I questioned what kind of customer service this is, the lady stated "we can only provide information". That is zero service to the customer, so I do recommend (in the least) that this company changes their "customer service" line to an "information only" line in title. She was only able to provide an email, to which her upper management could unlock the account, but the check thing doesn't seem to go away. I wanted to speak this over with a person, but was told I can only could send an email. So if I'm going to write, it's going to be a review at this point. Save your time and money and go somewhere that values their customers and actually is interested in helping when there's a concern. Also, if you choose to go to zoom tan, be aware that you can't cancel, they make it impossible and apparently hold it against you if you ever get your money back due to their own mistakes. (nothing against this specific location, there's no way to review corporate)

I've had good experiences each time I've come to this location. The employees I've spoken to have been friendly and the rooms have always been clean too. Id recommend this location to anyone.

I have been a loyal zoom tan customer for 12 years never have I ever seen this location dirtier or more unpleasant as I have since new management came in , I'm over having nobody ever say hello just "716" and then "finger" what is that? First off I don't have a 716 area code secondly has anyone that works there ever said please? Clearly talking their cues from the new unkempt looking manager who has done this every time since she started. Maybe it's worth the trip up up the street to another location!! I'm a person not a number!!! Clean up your act zoom tan!!
