Zoom Tan - Tanning Salon in Jamestown, NY

Worst place to tan ever. Beds not properly cleaned and the staff are rude. I had a friend who went in and she slipped on the floor of one of the rooms and almost broke her neck. When she brought it to staffs attention a second girl went to clean it while the original employee sat there and said she cleaned it. Obviously not well or maybe she cleaned it by spraying oil all over the room. I've been there a few times but won't go back. The girls at the desk sit and gossip about other employees and the manager. Pretty sad this kind of conversation happens in front of customers. Hearing that doesn't make me feel welcome, neither does the attitudes of the staff when they huff and puff while they walk back to "clean" a room.

My daughter is 17. Because she chose to keep my maiden name when i got married our last names arent the same. She has prom next month but when we went up to get her a package they wouldnt allow it because the last name on my card didnt match hers! I have never been so offend, as a mother, by a company in my life. How many diverse family are out there today?? To make my daughter socially unacceptable, by an ENTIRE company's blanket rule is horrifying!! This is them saying that my kid isnt eligible for the same treatment as other children who's family's do all carry the same sir name...is that even legal?

I wish there was an option for zero stars bc that's what I would have given this business. I wanted to purchase a spray tan package. I travel back and forth from Jamestown to Buffalo quite a bit so I asked if this package was good at all locations (it was expensive)or if it expired. The girl at one of the Buffalo locations assured me it was good at all locations in the country and that it did not expire. I happily purchased the package knowing I would be able to use the expensive pass. When I went to use my package at the Jamestown location, I was told it had expired and I would not be able to use it. I explained what I had been told in Buffalo and the employee couldn't have cared less. I asked her to call her manager or owner and she said there was nothing she could do. Very poor customer service but pretty typical in Jamestown. I will not go back or refer anyone to this business. Business tip for Zoom Tan. If you can see someone has spent a significant amount of money to have a service done at your business, you might want to treat them fairly so they will keep spending their money at your business rather than take their money elsewhere.
