Went today for a spray tan, for a vacation trip. Was not provided eye protection or nose filters (which the instructional video on the machine said to put on) so ended up getting blasted with spray in the eyes and nose. After the session, the machine said it was beginning the cleaning cycle. A dribble of water came out of the nozzle, just a few drips like a leaky faucet. Obviously the cleaning cycle was broken. I informed the girl at the desk, who just shrugged and said it does that. Wow. Also, no masks worn by the staff, or any plexiglass screens either. Their lack of care and cleanliness is very evident. Also really disappointed with the complete lack of any color developing in my "tan". Spent $30 and I think I got 4 sprays of nothing. No color change whatsoever. And this is "level 2" ? Total rip-off.

Visited this location for my 3rd time today and was so pleasantly welcomed by Jeremy! He was kind, friendly, informative, and professional! He walked my mother and I through the steps of our first spray tan while efficiently taking care of other customers and superbly keeping everything clean and sanitized. Great experience today. We'll be back! PS (I hope I got his pronouns right )

UPDATE to their reply: Now attacking me, calling me condescending for asking to speak with someone higher up. I gave them a little attitude, sure, I was an upset customer. That's the worst of it. I didn't swear, didnt yell. Notice no real apology for how upset he made me. Just trying to paint an ugly picture of me and defend themselves, HA I had to close a credit card that I was using for automatic payments with Zoom Tan because it was lost/stolen. I remembered that Zoom tan would have wanted to go out 4 days prior but wouldn't have worked, so I went online to cancel the membership. (I wasn't going to be tanning this month because I'm expecting and being cautious). A message came up claiming that I had to pay for the current month before I could cancel. Get real. Some "Samantha" on chat told me "you pay for your services in advance so it's not up to us whether or not you use it" which is a BS response. If your payment is declined for NETFLIX (Also a month-to-month service) and you don't use it for a month, do they make you pay the month you didn't have a valid card on file before you can update your payment method? NO... because that is RIDICULOUS and CRIMINAL if you ask me. Do not trust these money hungry, unapologetic criminals. The man I talked to from customer service (that conversation explained below) was so aggressively not on my side, unapologetic, and lacking empathy that I literally started crying so I hung up and cried for a bit before I came on here to write a review. It could be the hormones, but either way, what a horrible company. One that leaves you in tears and just does not care. Customer service guy I talked to over the phone today, claimed to be a supervisor when I asked for one. Then he said that they don't escalate calls about policy issues. So then I told him I wanted to speak to one of his supervisors about his rudeness to me, not the policy. So then he said they don't escalate calls at all here (new story) and said I was being a very difficult customer -- I was not. I was calm, I wasn't yelling. I've worked in customer service, I've had difficult customers, and so I know I was far from being difficult. I told him I was very disappointed in their treatment of customers and that I would be sure to warn everyone I knew and everyone across social media, about my experience.. And then he twists that and says I shouldn't be threatening the company, wow! I explained, no sir, I am expressing my dissatisfaction and letting you know that I won't keep silent about it--the truth, that is. That Zoom Tan customer service is a joke, they are just an army of people that are there to defend themselves, not help you. He also kept repeating that my money was not to be refunded, that they never refund, I said I was not looking for a refund, I was just looking to cancel my membership.Which would have started 4 days ago, but was never paid and I'm not using their services (haven't for over a month). He just kept telling me it was my fault for signing up, basically. If you're thinking about signing up for Zoom Tan, just know that even their customer service representatives believe that it could end up being your only mistake! To add to it, he let me know that he was an experienced complainer and that whenever he calls to complain, he always gets his money refunded, and that I was doing it all wrong. What the actual heck? What sort of company is this!? What's worse, is he said they will continue to "charge" me monthly (as in, not be able to because my card number was changed), until the balance was enough to send to collections. He then said he was doing me a favor by telling me to just pay for this month and then cancel so that doesn't happen to me. Please, please. Do your research. I'm not the only person this has happened to. There are plenty of people that have been tricked and abused by this company--in some cases, losing hundreds of dollars for tanning they never did, even after trying to cancel over and over again. Check the complaints and reviews on Better Business Bureau. Do not trust them. Just as a little bonus, when I told him I was discontinuing my tanning because I was pregnant, he cut me off and said there is no proof that it's bad for you when pregnant, that it isn't their problem what my beliefs are, which is way out of line. I wasn't asking his opinion, I was only explaining my situation. Just another example of how unprofessional and inconsiderate their employees are. I decided to call back to see about filing a complaint against the man that I spoke to the first time. The lady told me that because it was a man, he was most likely their supervisor and that he was the highest that I could go. She said I could email customer service, but I would just be emailing them. So the man that is supposed to be in charge was the rudest, most unprofessional customer service representative that I have ever dealt with. That's the company you're thinking about getting involved with!
