Zoom Tan - Tanning Salon in Buffalo, NY

The spray tan unit is disgusting! Dried up spray on top of unit. The nozzle has bubbled up crap on it. Dont look beside the unit...floor is disgusting. The towels they give you look like they were used and borrowed from a garage.

I go for the spray tans and the session is extremely quick compared to zoom tan. The room is very big compared to a dark closet type room. There are several around . Zoom tan doesn't have any locations near the city

In Buffalo for a couple of days and in desperate need of a tan..... Not sure if it was because the girl that checked me was overwhelmed at the front desk.. But she did not tell me that the bed would turn on after a certain number of minutes. So here I was in the tight booth taking off my cloths when the machine came on.. I was left scrambling trying to get into the machine sans lotion as to not waste any second of the precious 7 minute session I had... Hopefully I will have a better experience tomorrow

I come here all the time now. Its by far my favorite salon ive tried. Theres never a wait, there is tons of beds, and decent product selection. Customer service is really nice and relaxed. I also have to say the beds are a perfect size. I feel like almost every other bed is too narrow and curves too much on the back causing pain and discomfort in my lower back, but their beds arent painful in my back arch at all and are even kinda flattened and leave tons of room to move. Theyre always clean and friendly. Ill continue to come here!

Much to my mother's dismay, I was a regular indoor tanner when I was younger. I knew it was unhealthy, I knew it was a waste of money, but I really loved being tan. Like many other women (and men), I just felt more attractive with "a little color". Now that I'm older, I've learned to resist the tanning temptation. Yes, even on the coldest, darkest, saddest winter days, I refuse to step foot in a tanning bed. It's not worth the cost-- financially or physically. With that being said, after our long, bleak winter, I found myself looking in the mirror and no longer recognizing the woman looking back at me. "Pale," "sickly" and "gross" are all words that I would have used to describe my coloring. Because of this, I decided to try out the Mystic Tan at Total Tan. Bonus-- when you check in on the Yelp app, you receive 50% off your spray tan! I decided to do a "light" tan with the supplemental enhancer to even out my pH levels (an extra $6) and a coconut lime scent (an extra $2). After the discount, my purchase was around $20. Not bad! The directions were easy to follow and I felt comfortable stripping down to my birthday suit in the private spray tan space. The gentleman working at the front desk (store manager, perhaps?) was also very friendly and gave me useful tips and tricks about when to shower, how much blending lotion to use, etc. While I didn't see results immediately, or even hours later, I definitely saw a boost in my color this morning! It looks very natural and even. I am not orange at all. My only problem is that I [stupidly] cooked dinner directly after the spray tan and my recipe involved washing/ scrubbing lots of vegetables. I should have prepared something else because you're not supposed to get wet in the hours after the tan. Because of this, I do have a little unevenness around my wrists. The other downside is the smell. Even with the added scent, the odor is unpleasant. I've heard others describe the scent as comparable to cat piss and I'd say that is probably an accurate description. However, I don't think it's unbearable. I actually like the results so much I can see this becoming a regular thing! Since the tan shows up differently on everyone, it's impossible to predict exactly what it will look like on your own skin until you try it out for yourself. For this reason, I am happy I went with the lightest option for my first time. I am considering doing this again for my wedding this November. Next time I am heading to the beach or on a vacation, I might opt for the medium tan instead. Although a spray tan doesn't warm you up and boost your vitamin D levels the same way a tanning bed does, I am really happy with the results from the Mystic Tan. It's an affordable and healthy alternative to those harmful UV rays!
