Zoe & Co. Salon in Oklahoma City, OK

I've had my hair cut here a lot and the cut and color have been exactly what I requested. There is a several stylist to select from for your services.  I love this salon.

I was in OKC from out of town and getting ready to leave on a weekend trip so I wanted to have my hair colored and trimmed before I left.  I went on Yelp, found this place, read the reviews and called for an appointment.  I was told I could get in the next day so that seemed perfect.  The shop looked nice and the people were friendly.  The girl who was going to do my hair looked young but that didn't bother me.  I told her what I wanted, including that I wanted my bangs TRIMMED to just above my eyebrows.  I also said "Just don't cut them too short.  They can always be cut more if they need to be."  She literally butchered my hair and cut my bangs so short I look like the Little Dutch Boy!  I was obviously very upset and she called the owner over who acted like it was no big deal and said "In a week and a half, they'll be fine"!  I was leaving the NEXT day on this trip!  Then I asked how long she had been doing hair and she said she had been out of school a few weeks and she's going to take her State exam in 2 or 3 weeks!  She wasn't even licensed!  I totally think I should have been told all of this before I let her touch my hair because I certainly wouldn't have!  I will say the she did a decent job coloring my hair but that did NOT make up for the hack job she did on it.  It put a huge damper on my trip because I looked terrible and still do!  And to top it off, they charged me $80!  I will certainly NEVER go back to this place and wanted to warn others about my experience.

The ambiance is nice but I just did not leave with the cut or style I was looking for. The stylist was not as experienced as I originally thought and it showed. But it's a lovely salon!

Ok here goes. My first review ever, not sure why I haven't shared before, but this experience warrants a share! I had the pleasure of having London for my stylist today. I had forwarded some photos of my current hair and the direction of where I wanted to take it. She went above and beyond my expectations and has an amazing, fun personality to boot. I'm seriously considering driving 6-1/2hrs from Texas to see her when I need to get my sexy back. Thanks London and Zoe & Co you guys rock!
