We went here for a couples massage and it was amazing! The masseuses were phenomenal and listened to any problem areas. Very relaxing and professional environment! I would highly recommend.

"Beware: They Didn't Honor Their Own Cancellation Policy" I am writing this review after an extremely disappointing experience with Zina's Day Spa, marking the first time I've ever felt compelled to review a business publicly. I booked a special spa day for my mother and myself during a brief visit to Baltimore. However, my mom fell seriously ill on the day of our appointment. I promptly communicated this to Zina, the owner, who initially offered to reschedule for the following day. While my mother was too ill to attend, I was willing to go alone. Yet, as my mother's condition worsened overnight, we had no choice but to leave Baltimore first thing in the morning, prompting me to cancel my rescheduled appointment. Despite my efforts to communicate and reschedule, I was shocked to find that Zina charged me the full spa package amount of $789. This is in direct violation of their own cancellation policy displayed on their website, which states that same-day cancellations will incur a charge of only a 50% security deposit, with full charges reserved solely for "no shows". I accepted the possibility of being charged the deposit, but being charged in full is both unjust and misleading. I am sharing this experience not for sympathy, but as a cautionary tale for others considering services at Zina's Day Spa. It's disheartening when businesses choose not to uphold their own publicly stated policies, especially in circumstances beyond a customer's control.

I always go to Zina's when it's time for a spa day! No place else will do! I've had my hair cut and colored there, a mani & pedi, and massage. Never disappointed. Travis is hands down the best massage therapist in the world; like, for real! I cannot say enough about Travis, the man is truly an expert in his field. I've been a registered nurse all my life, and therefore have back issues (to put it mildly). As a result, I get a message every chance I get (and if I don't have time I make it!) From eco-resorts to fancy cruise ships, even in the best hotels: you can't find hands like Travis', I promise you that!

So I have gotten half-dozen Massages @ Zina Spa. While the massage therapist has been fair to good. It's the only spa in Baltimore where you can make an appointment on the same day. Hence why I keep going there. But Management is awful, one time I tipped the masseuse in cash upstairs and the owner insisted I add a tip when I paid w/ my Credit Card (see last review). Last couple of times Management wanted to collect more personal information than needed. This time when I came down to pay she added the tip to the services charge and added an additional $5 as some made-up charge. Today Management called and claimed I made an appointment for today, which I did not, and I am afraid they are going to try to charge me. I know Management keeps your Credit Card on file. UGH. I would not recommend this place to anyone. it is too seedy.

Upon arriving we realized my appointment had been scheduled for the wrong day, but Zina pleasantly assured me they would be able to fit me in for an hour massage. My massage therapist was Daniel and he was AMAZING! I shared with him some of the areas I was having pain and challenges with and Daniel went above and beyond giving attention to those areas and stretching them out as well! i am currently in process of figuring out how to see Daniel at least twice a month for some needed self care because he gave me one of the best massages I've ever had!
