New spot in Maspeth! Amazing sushi quality and diverse menu. Two of the sweetest waitresses served me! Clean and beautiful decor. A must try.

After trying most spots in the neighborhood for sushi over the years , I was delighted by my experience at Omatoya. We ordered the sushi & sashimi for two, it was fresh and a good portion for two people. I do wish they told us what we were being served but regardless we still enjoyed it! They also offered us a discount and bottle of sake which was a nice perk as a new establishment! Definitely will be back and recommend giving it a try if you're local. They're in my top 2 for sushi in Maspeth!

From authenticity to freshness, this is the place to eat! From the impeccable service given by the very friendly staff to the excellent options on the menu I have to say this is my new sushi go-to! A brand new restaurant and very clean. Have ordered delivery here as well and they have always delivered within a decent time and amazing quality of food.

Went in to this spot about two weeks ago since I passed it and knew it was new and wanted to give it a try. We ordered to go and it the order took about fifteen minutes. The place was completely empty and it took the girl like two minutes to even notice us. The food was not good at all, the chicken teriyaki tasted like rubber and California rolls were not appetizing. We asked for extra soy sauce since we got five orders and they gave us one. I just feel this restaurant will not last long if they continue to serve below average food and not good service.

Ordered one of their specialty rolls, shrimp tempura roll, crunchy sweet potato roll and edamame. All items were fresh and delicious! They delivered within 15 minutes and since I called the order in, gave me 10% discount. Happy for this new neighborhood gem!
