Zen Nail bar & Spa in Burlington, IA

I went in and wanted ombré on my regular nails and I was told they can't do that I would have to have the dip or acrylic on my nails and I didn't want that so they did a white tip. I don't see why they can't do ombré on my own nail. Also I thought it was very expensive to do just polish on my nail with a white tip.

I was there today and it was the worse customer service. I went there 4hr before closing and at the time 5 customer were been serviced. I have always gotten my nails done there and never have any issue before.
today i went and told them I need pedicure and gel finger, they agreed and seat me to start the pedicure. The technician that was preparing the items didn't speak English, it appear he was talking to me but I didn't reply and look towards the other technician who took over the set up.

During the pedicure he try to have conversations and ask if I work at a hospital? I said yes and if it was in town and I said no. Those were the only word exchange I had with them after telling them what services I need.

By his attitude seems he had issue with someone who those answers matched. Because the visit got weird he finished my toes  and a poor job at it. But I didn't say anything either. He rushed me out the chair to pay him. I told him I was getting my fingers done and he decline to finish my service. There new customers waiting at that time and he processed to work with them and asked me to leave. It was weird and rude, very poor customer service for This establishment. I work too hard to pay for crappy service and a business that don't respect customers.

Very pushy. They tell u what they want for u. No thanks I know what I want and expect it not what u want for. Plan on spending 45 for gel and manicure but got dip instead which I didn't want but got anyways and not even the color I wanted either

I went in today with a friend and it was the worst experience I've ever had.  They lady I had was extremely rough with my nails and cut me several times and when she was filing with the drill. She took it so far down and left it on my fingers, I became able to feel the heat of the file drill and it was burning my fingers. I repeatedly was saying "ouch" and pulling my hand away and then she'd grab it and yank it back and roll her eyes. This lady was absolutely horrible. MY NAILS STILL ARE BURNING. I have never left a nail salon and had that. Also on top of that this lady wasn't even making conversation with me or anything. Just yank and pull on my arms. And also messed up on my nails on how I wanted them and she told me ya ya I know as she continues to do it. Very disappointed and won't be going back, and will be telling friends about my experience!!

If I could put minus ratings I would. These people are rude, hates, and just plain mean. If you go there after getting your nails done somewhere else they where refuse to take care of you. And they will tell you outright!!  I guess they don't need the business!!
