ZAZA NAILS & SPA in Glen Carbon, IL

Probably the worst nail experience I've ever had. The first ten minutes the guy I had was texting on his phone then kept stopping to make a Starbucks order. All my nails are different shapes and extremely chunky. I showed him a picture and asked for something specific and he seemed so confused as to what to do. Here's the picture I asked for and what I got.....on top of the horrible experience I was charged $50 for poor service and hideous nails.

If you need a quick and easy full set def recommend but if you are picky like me go to your regular nail tech! Def kinda pricey for their work.

If you want a $100 pedicure then RUN to this nail salon! The staff act like they don't understand English and they kindly hand you a beautiful menu then point to a $100 pedicure. I personally can afford that but I chose not to. I got the basic pedicure and the employee seemed peeved about my decision! She did a mediocre job but I didn't like the vibe of this nail salon, and I won't be going back, that's for sure. I pay approximately $45 for a gel pedicure and I could get 2 for the price of 1 of this nail salons recommendation. Be careful going here! You could have a $200 bill if you got the recommended services! Thanks but no thanks. I'll go down the street where the staff are nicer and they are just as good pedicures and they don't break the bank. If I could give less than 1 star I would! The prices are outrageous and the services received are mediocre at that.

Cannot stand getting my nails done here. When I moved to the area I gave Zaza a shot and they absolutely destroyed my nails removing my dip manicure. I started driving 45 minutes to go to an actual quality salon. Took me months to rebuild my nail bed. Had to come back because I needed a refresh for family pictures and didn't want to drive far in snow. Big mistake. Workers are super catty. Cleanliness is questionable. Water is cold even if you ask for warmer. Always get pushed to up charge services. They mix up the color you ask for. And the work is all-around sloppy. It's over-priced, there is nothing relaxing about the experience, and I should have braved the blizzard over getting my nails done here again. If you question the quality just take a seat and look at how terrible the nails of the people next to you look. Gross place.

Every year for my birthday, I would go with my mother and my two daughters somewhere to get our nails done together... My mother passed recently , so my daughters took me to Zaza's for my birthday to get a manicure and pedicure As soon as we walked in, they quickly separated one of us from the other two. The older lady that doing my manicure and pedicure (I can only assume is the owner or someone in charge) Was rude, seemed like she didn't want to be there... (you could tell by the look on the lady's face that was doing my daughter's nails) that the older lady was talking about me... I wasn't in the right mind frame to care about what she was saying... but the lady wanted me to notice this... Then she cut my thumb and it got infected .. Nail polish did not even cover my nails It was very unprofessional, and unnecessary ... You don't know what everybody else is dealing with from day to day, being nice to your customers shouldn't be a chore It was an upsetting experience I will not spend my money there again
