Youngz Nails in Bayville, NJ

I made a appointment last week for a fill. I get there and the guy started ripping my nails off. I asked what are you doing? He said nothing. I said when I called I asked specificly for a fill. My nails I had on were still going strong, nothing was broken or lifted. So now after he ripped my nails off WITHOUT SAYING ANYTHING, my nails that he did is already lifting after 3 days. They also charged me more for taking them off and putting new ones on when I never wanted that nor said that.

Worst manicure and pedicure I've ever had. I had a male tech, who was awful at doing nails, and for my first time there, I quickly realized that I will never go back. The pedicure area was very dirty, and extremely unsanitary. No plastic lining in the foot bath, no sanitized pumice stone, no sanitized foot brush. It was gross. To top it all off, the tech barely did anything. Normally, a tech will take that little tool that looks like a pair of needle nose pliers and gently cut the cuticles away to make your nail beds look clean and neat. He didn't do that at all. He was on the phone on and off the whole time and barely paid any attention. At first I was wondering if it was just this guy, or were all the techs this bad. When I started to look around I realized that it wasn't just this guy. They are all unsanitary and they all weren't doing a great job. My tech's hands were so shaky he kept getting nail polish all over my hands and feet. I had gel nail polish on that needed to be soaked off. He took the little drill sander thing and just sanded the gel polish off AFTER he took the time to file the gel down and soak my nails with the cotton/acetone/foil. What was the point? Will not be going back here again. Waste of time.

I want to give a better review but my experiences makes that very hard to do. I had ONE good experience, years ago, and it was with one of the women techs. She is very good at designs and doesn't allow anything less than perfect. But the techs there are just so unprofessional. Several times i'm sitting there and they just get up and walk away and don't come back for minutes. The final straw for me was 3 times i made an appointment, get there 10 minutes early and then sit and wait for over an hour - sit and wait that long just to be seated at table, then the tech goes missing, comes back and tells me to go sit over there bc their client is in.

Wish I could give zero stars !!!! Had me sitting with my feet in cold water for over 40 minutes before they told me that they didn't have anyone to take me. DON'T BOTHER GOING !!!

I have had fine experiences in the past with this salon but lately have just been leaving very unhappy. I went in the day before Thanksgiving because i was going out but was trying to get a full set in a price range that worked for me (25 for polish, 35 for gel, 40 for french and then factoring in a tip) As i was asking for prices because the sign is a bit confusing, i was clearly a bother to the man behind the counter. I opted for a full set with just polish. i left the salon with crooked nails which i had to file myself when i got home, polish not completely down to my cuticle as if to form an illusion that i need to come back sooner, and a horrible polish job all around. I will not be going to this salon anymore. I gave two stars because otherwise it is a very modern salon and they have a lot of employees(which i don't seem to find at a lot of salons). and I know not all employees are the same.
