Worst haircut ever. I came in because I needed a haircut in a hurry. Showed him a pic of a guy with long hair on the top. Me having long hair said I want you to cut the sides short leaving the top long. Next thing I know there is only an inch of hair on the too of my head. Lost in translation much??!! I spent a year growing my hair and now I have a buzz cut. I'm so pisses.
I went in today for a haircut at Brodie's, which shares the building with Youngman's, and while Christine is cautious about COVID restrictions, Youngmans is not. Neither the barber nor the customer in the chair were wearing masks, and then two other maskless patrons walked in. The four of them shared the small shop and chatted away, ironically about the Texas governor suspending their mask mandate. I got up and left. It's unfortunate for Christine to try to be careful while sharing her space with mask deniers, but I'm older and at risk and can't frequent businesses that are unconcerned about the public's health.
Best place for my son and husband's haircuts. Youngman has been doing this for decades, and is the real deal. He did such a great job on my son's hair too.
