I love my new hair do. Allison is great at what she does. I also love this shop. They have a wide variety of clothes, purses, and jewelry. I will be back!!

This hair salon/clothing store was recommended by a friend, and most of my experiences have been positive. I have had my hair cut and styled several times, by two different stylists. The price for a cut was around $35.00-$40.00 each time, but both stylists have done a great job. Plus, the staff are friendly and professional, and the atmosphere is welcoming, rather than snooty and uncomfortable.

Scheduling is quick and easy, and they even accept last minute appointments. The receptionist is always friendly, so make sure you are polite and call in advance if you need to reschedule. One perk is being able to get appointment reminders via text!

My only negative experience was when I wanted my hair highlighted, and it's why I rated 3 stars instead of 4. My friend had great results when she got highlights in her naturally blonde hair. However, my results didn't match images of the stylist's prior work or my inspiration photos. In their defense, I do have dark hair and requested a difficult trend, an ombré balayage (hand-painted) effect. I will also admit that I am used to having a talented colorist work on my hair, so perhaps I am picky. However, my friends also agreed the highlights didn't suit my coloring or match the photo I provided. After I saw my hair in the sunlight, I spoke to the stylist, and they did try to remedy the situation by adding more highlights, which I appreciated; but it still didn't it look good. Because of this experience, I would hesitate before recommending a drastic color change or difficult techniques, especially for a first visit.

Overall, I do recommend this location for cuts for both men and women! The location is great for nearby residents, and the pricing is reasonable, though a little expensive. In my experience, the stylists always take time and care when shampooing, cutting and styling hair. I always feel pampered when I go, and they are usually prompt. If you decide to get color or highlights, I would ask to see examples of the stylist's work to see if they are a good fit. It's also wise to bring inspiration photos of the desired cut and/or color. Always make sure the stylist does a consultation first to ensure the stylist understands what you want. If you can see color swatches, this is even better.

As far as shopping goes, the clothing in the store is trendy, cute, and not overly expensive. The fabric isn't always the highest quality, but it's a fun place to browse! The clothing options are appropriate for women, from teenagers to older women. I always like support local businesses when possible.

Last minute hair cut.  Called Saturday morning and got an appointment with Jo Anna. Really great cut. She was so personable. I will be back.

I decided to schedule an appointment at Xpressions to get my hair trimmed and shaped up. Maggie did a great job cutting my hair even, and I'm highly satisfied with her work. I will definitely be going back to see Maggie in the future! If you're looking for a great hair stylist who can cut men's hair then I highly recommend her.

This place has got it going on!! I had a fabulous experience and all the ladies are so sweet and make you feel right at home!! I really love Alison, she nailed my color and cut!! I'm so picky ab my hair and she did exactly what I was looking for!! Way to go ladies for creating a salon that every woman feels like rock star walking out!! I most certainly will be back!!!
