I suggest not requesting Mimi. Her customer service is POOR.. Mimi has No respect for Veterans or Disabled customers. I was referred to this business so I brought my husband to get his nails trimmed. I left with my husband whose finger was bleeding because Mimi cut the nail to low. She didn't even offer a band-aid or a piece of cotton. no apology from her and she kept yanking his hands whilst doing the trim. My first thought was to report this to Better Business Bureau. Kenny, one of the manicurlist, stepped up for the team and apologized. Kenny offered to come back and ask for his help. If Mimi didn't want to work sufficiently she should have stayed at home. I have gone to this salon off and on for over 22yrs. The 1st time I stopped going is because I got a foot fungi after getting a pedicure. I stopped for several and resumed many years later. For the most part everyone is nice. Kenny is the only male working in there and while he can be nice, he can also be extremely rude at times. I've been to most of the nail techs there but have stuck with Anna the last several months. The last time I was there, I didn't care for the way she was shaping my nails and politely mentioned it to her. She stopped, looked at me rather rudely and sd "I'm not done yet". I explained I didn't want my natural nails cut the way she was cutting them and we went back and forth explaining our POVs. She continued. Then she did something else while shaping and I mentioned it again. She was irritated and raised her voice so we went back and forth again. Then Her husband Kenny yelled at me "JUST BE QUIET OR LEAVE IF YOU DON'T LIKE IT". well the problem was I couldn't leave because she was Midway through the process of doing my dipping powder so leaving right then wasn't an option. She continued and I didn't particularly care for my nails at the end but they weren't horrible so I didnt pitch a fit. I just didnt tip her that session like I normally do. It was very apparent she didn't like being corrected or instructed on how I wanted my nails, a service I was paying for. It's been about 6wks and I decided to go back because overall, Anna typically does a decent job on my nails. Surprisingly when I walked in, Anna was doing a pedicure and Kenny had the appointment book he pretended to flip through looking for availability for me. Ironically, No availability today (last minute so I understand that) no availability tomorrow, that's odd and no availability on Thursday. Even the client sitting in Kennys chair made a comment about no availability. All of the 22+ yrs I have gone there, they have never been booked 3 days in a row. Clearly they didn't want to do my nails. Which is fine because I don't want to service a business who does not welcome feedback from their clients regarding a service theyrepaying for. I will gladly be taking my money elsewhere. They are lucky I gave them another chance after getting a foot fungus there years ago. It won't happen again. Very disappointed
Do not get your eyebrows waxed here. I usually come here & get great service, but today was horrible . The lady who waxed my eyebrows literally burned my skin off & now it's hard for me to blink or even close my eyes. I usually like coming here , but I will not be coming back . If the lady was apologetic & concerned for what she had did to my face. Then maybe I wouldn't had asked for my money back. Instead she said, "oh just put Vaseline on it, it'll go away". Not even a sorry or anything. They did refund me for this service, but I will not be coming back ever.
